the doctor dematerialized the TARDIS as Kyle and Stella checked on Charlie, The Doctor Check the ships scanner, "Oh," He said, Rain turned to him.

"that doesn't sound good," Rain said, he looked at the Scanner, it was a diagram of a human body with red spreading from the chest, the same place where Charlie was stabbed.

"something alien is spreading through his body, slowly changing him," the eyes of most of the people landed on Stella.

"The Demon curse," She mumbled. 

"The what?" The Doctor asked. 

"The Demon curse it's what made me like this," Stella said.

"A nice person?" The Doctor asked.

"No I mean the horns," She said pointing.

"Oh you know what I hadn't noticed them," the Doctor said.

"How does one get affected by this demon curse?" the Doctor asked.

"most of the Nether leadership weapons have a unique curse, it changes the human into a Nether kin, it's a tactic that Naeus thought could be used to add bulk to the Nether Army," Kyle explain.

"I only managed to hold on to myself due to the fact I'm descended from the end watchers," Stella said.

"it left a corner of her mind buried deep down, but enough for her to act, Charlie has no such advantage, he's only human," Ceris said, The Doctor looked at Charlie.

"you're right he is only human, but he's got us, he's got you," The Doctor said.

"I don't see how that'll help, it's only a matter of time," Rain said, he shook his head bring out a cable from the TARDIS console.

"one of the key battles happening is in his mind, he has a distinct advantage in the mind, he has the mind place I made for him, and we can enter it help him fight off the infection," The Doctor explained.

"How many people can you tie into it?" Kyle asked.

"Three at most, I'll have to stay out here, I need to find a way to stop the DNA infection," the Doctor said, he place three connection points on the heads of Stella, Rain and Kyle. "Now you might feel a little sting," the Doctor said flipping the switches, and the three fell to the floor, "Probably should have gotten them chairs," The Doctor said.

"Now what?" Ciara asked.

"We are going to the TARDIS medical wing, I have an idea to stop and repair the damage," The Doctor said. "Kane can you stay here and watch them, let me know if there's the slightest change on the monitor," the Doctor said.

"So this is Charlie's mind? it a lot more tree-filled than I thought," Rain said, looking around at the mud path surrounded by trees.

"it's where he would walk the dog, behind where we grow up," Kyle said.

"So how do we find him?" Stella asked, kyle learned down to the ground. 

"he's been through here a couple of times," Kyle said.

"he's running, from himself," Stella said, "And I don't mean figuratively I mean literally," She added, Kyle stood up, A yell of pain in the distance.

Charlie had woken up once again the path from his childhood, and once again being hunted by a demon, only this time it was him, he had turned to find a version of him, same height same build, only an exact copy only with a pair of crimson horn, black and red eyes, and fangs, "Ahh, this is good," Charlie said, the Nerther kin swung at him, and charlie jumped back, it let out a guttural scream.
