THE UNIVERSE THAT MISSED US (1st look)

Pagkatapos ng tryouts nag tungo kaming lahat sa isang convenience store na malapit lang sa school namin. It was almost sundown when we got there, Malcom and I picked food for the four of us meanwhile the two girls went and choose a spot for us to sit on. Libre kasi naming dalawa ngayon in celebration sa pagpasok ni Malcom sa orcas.

Since we are all outside, we had the pleasure of choosing the food we crave the most when we are at home. Malcom picked some chips and ice cream— no beers of course, because it was too early for that and Emily still doesn't know how to drink.

I still have to teach her though.

So I decided to pick some juice boxes and Emily's favorite combos which are the marshmallows and sweet and sour gummies instead. I am aware that her weird cravings are at their peak when her period is almost due.

We all settled down to unoccupied chairs just outside the store so we could keep guard on our bikes parked in a corner. Emily awed like a child the moment I laid her faves on our table.

"You remembered!" Emily exclaimed.

My whole body paused for my heart went straight to my throat with the sight of her pleading and cute eyes. I tried to compose myself and acted as the boastful bestfriend so she won't get suspicious. 

"Of course! I remember. Basic." I flexed on how I know every little thing about her just so everyone would praise and acknowledge me. 

But we're not kids anymore so I got ignored.
