I just turned my attention to Amethyst's loosed pom-poms and just let Austin be. Malaki na siya alam na niya ang ginagawa niya.
"Ano ba ang nangyari sa pom-poms mo Amethyst at nasira ito ng ganito?" I asked.
"Pinaglaruan kasi iyan ni Duke kagabi." Mangiyak-ngiyak niyang sumbong sa akin at hindi niya sinadyang mapalakas ang boses sa dismaya. "Hindi ko na nga iyon pinapatulog sa kwarto ko sa inis ko sa chow-chow na iyon!"
"What a bad boi!" A high-pitched nasal voice came in barging to our topic as if she's has to be involved in everything.
"Oh my god, her voice totally freaks me out!" Amethyst faked shivers as she got annoyed by that person walking in down the aisle of the canteen along with her cliques as if it was a fashion runway.
"Am I the only one who thinks she sounds like minnie mouse but in a creepier way?" She complained.
At first glance you'd definitely see her Spanish lineage. Her wide set round cognac eyes, milky white skin, small face and her long caramel mermaid curls— which she claims to be her natural hair wherein fact she hides a hairstylist at home to help her pull off that girly look and makes sure she'd stand out of the crowd everyday.
It was Cozette Corrado, the daughter of the school director, the Siren's cheerleading captain and Arctic Ocean class princess. She took pride of wearing her parents' reputation but that doesn't change the fact that she belongs in the last section.
But too much beauty added to those parts that lacked her height and not to mention, her body too inappropriate for her age and as a Filipina as well. She's a mixed-race.
She acts as if she owns the whole school and everyone wherein her dad basically is the one who runs the school. And yes, she's one of those people who has pretty-privilages that takes advantage of other people's intentions for their own good.
So sad to think that only Amethyst and I are the only ones who can see the hostility in her eyes, her shallow smile and how she utilize her dimples to caught up everyone in her haze. I know, they know but they still want to get involved with a pretty, petite and a popular girl like her.
Cozette made her way to our table along with her squad, Maisie and Raj. It was as if I was having a nightmare while I'm wide awake.
