"Okay that'll be all for today, everyone. Class is dismissed."

And like a normal Filipino class, we stood up in synch and bid our teacher goodbye. "Goodbye and Thank you Mrs. Buenaventura!"

Since the classes has ended, the classroom started to get noisy and heavy running footsteps towards the door are made by the boys in my class. Then they began to talk about this new mobile game that made everyone craze.

"Hep! Hep! Teka muna."

"Don't forget the odyssey summary I assigned as your project! Understood?"

She's our literature teacher too.

"Yes Ms. Buenaventura." The class agreed in chorus in a disappointed tone realizing that they would stay up late for doing the odyssey summary again. Then eventually made their way out of the classroom.

#MeTimeGoodbye

"Hey Emily!" A girl that is sitting beside me tapped my right shoulder. It was Amethyst, my seatmate and one of my closest friends in class. "I have a confession to make." She said hesitantly.

"What is it?" I asked.

Avoiding my gaze, a line drew between her brows pleading as she titled her head- her dark brown hair almost similar to chocolate, tied up into pigtails and put up a worried smile.

She said.

As I remembered, the two of them were partners in an activity we made in chemistry the other day. It was a bad idea that our chemistry teacher paired them up because Austin and Amethyst only gives trouble to one another and mostly to me!

"Ano?"

All you have to do is switch it back at the right moment para hindi mahalata ni Nurse Jane na nawala ang thermometer sa quarters ng Rescue Guild." She handed me a tiny box and inside was the thermometer.
