Y/N helped clean up in the village before saying goodbye going to her next mission and ran into the guy with the boar's head. "Oh hey!" I called out to him jogging towards his way, waving. "Hello! I meant to thank you earlier," he whipped his head towards me and stepped closer. "You trying to challenge me huh? Thought I couldn't defeat that demon?!" The man seemed like he was yelling but it was his way of communicating. "Um...no- I was just saying I'm glad you took the time to help. It was probably exhausting for you," I get cut off seeing steam coming from the boar's nose...or it could be my imagination. "Of course it wasn't exhausting! I never get tired!" The man was about to continue when a familiar scream called out to Y/N and the stranger.

"Y/N, Inosuke! help me!" Zenitsu came running up toward us being chased by a man with an ax. Y/N sighs heavily and smiles, not seeing her childhood friend in years. "Wait, sir, come back! Please don't kill him." Another boy in forest green and a black checkered cover-up with black pants was running behind him. Y/N grabs Zenitsu just as he was about to run past her, "What did you do this time Lightning?" The man with the ax caught up to us swinging towards Zenitsu but I grabbed his wrist and stopped his action.

"Lady let go! That rat tried to ask my daughter for her hand in marriage! He tried to do it behind my back while I was chopping wood!" The man shouts, stepping back away from me about to swing again, until the man in green and black ran up behind him and grabbed his arm. "Sir, I'll make sure he'll apologize to you and your daughter. You see he was uh," Y/N completed his response saying, "he is still tipsy from all that liquor he drank. He's too much of a lightweight for his own good." I hugged Zenitsu, rubbing his back, pouting slightly, "his wife left him so his only enjoyment is alcohol." Inosuke looked at me confused, "He doesn't have a wif-" Y/N punched Inosuke in the stomach, shutting him up. The man lowered his ax, hanging it on his belt.

"Hmmm...I'll let him off the hook for now. But if I see him around my daughter again, I'll cut him up!" The man walks off leaving the four of us behind. "Tanjiro, why didn't you knock him out or something!" Zenitsu sniffles, rubbing his eyes still holding onto me. "You're still claiming you're going to die early huh?" Y/N smiled unwrapping his arms from around hers. Tanjiro was about to speak when Inosuke came up to my face. "Hey...you want to start a fight?! Bring it!" Inosuke whipped out his swords. "Don't start a fight! This beautiful lady just saved our friend!" Tanjiro stepped out in front of me, blocking Inosuke from hurting me.

"Well thank you! You're quite handsome yourself uh Tanjiro right?" I called out to him seeing his cheeks flush a light pink. "Y/N thanks for helping me, although why are you here?" Zenitsu adjusted his shirt and fixed his collar. "I had 2 jobs I needed to go to...the one here and the next one near the Drench forest." All three of them look in my direction as if I just killed someone. "Um...is there a problem? Why are you all looking at me like that?" I cross my arms underneath my chest shifting my weight to one leg.

"Are you going by yourself? It's dangerous being near there- one of us could go with you in case something might happen!" Tanjiro stepped forward volunteering himself. "Awe~ we just came from a job! I want to eat something first!" Zenitsu whined, puffing his cheeks out. "HA! I'll get there before all of you!" Inosuke rushes ahead going the wrong way. "Um...I guess he's bad with directions." I look at Tanjiro and he laughs while Zenitsu sneaks away to a food stall run by a beautiful lady. "Are you sure you want to come?" I turned my attention back to Tanjiro. He nods his head with a smile and with that they begin their journey to Drench forest.
