Mino: Ha! I'm back bitches! Thought I was dead or something? Hell no! I'll keep this short. I had a lot of testing and teachers that required my attention. Now that I'm free for now I've been busy but not too busy. I had pre-typed this and forgot to post it. On with the story!

The sun was bright and blinding in the sky, without fluffy fur for clouds in sight is when my training began. "Again," Sakonji uttered the same word for the millionth time whenever I didn't get something right, which was all morning into the mid-afternoon. "Don't rely on strength too much," he placed his fan down beside him, drinking his cup of tea while I repeated my movements. My body was in indescribable pain- mostly my side that's healing. My thighs and shoulder blades decided to join the pain party. "Go up the mountain and back," I paused at his words looking at him perplexed. He gestured toward the mountain path from our position in which I let out a silent groan in my head.

I took a deep breath and broke out into a sprint running up the pathway and avoiding the obstacles that he placed for me. This was y/n's motive to not make too many mistakes or she has to sprint up and down the mountain. The early evening hit when we took a small 1-minute break. I collapse on the ground leaning back against a tree stump in the shade. Sweat stained every part of my body making me look like another large body of water. Y/n took out her sword examining it once more seeing her reflection. "Y/n let's continue!" Sakonji called out for me and I stood up glancing down at my sword. Y/n froze staring at what was supposed to be her reflection, yet something else was in place of her reflection.

I dropped my sword immediately when I saw it or whatever that was. It was majestic, terrifying, and beautiful. I glanced around me nervously and picked my sword back up to see my own reflection. "Well, that happened," I hurried back to Sakonji without mentioning what I thought I saw. For all I know I could have been hallucinating from the unbearable heat or I might just be more insane than I originally thought. Training continued for the rest of the day and I was to wait for his analysis of what he needed to tell me about my ability. I practically crawled into bed after I finished taking a bath and eating. "Everything hurts," I groan, feeling sore in every area of my body.

Y/n really couldn't fall asleep right away after what happened with her reflection, yet she was passed out with one leg up on the wall, and arms above her head. Who knows...the position sounds uncomfortable but might actually be the opposite. It was then that y/n fluttered her eyes open to find herself staring at a beautiful chandelier. "This has to be a dream because who wants a chandelier that could fall on them right where they slept?" I sat up slowly observing the room with its luxurious taste. 'Definitely a dream' I thought to myself getting out from underneath the covers. Y/n walked towards the door as it dissolved before her. On the other side, her sword was laying on top of a dresser in a hallway.

I walked over and grabbed the handle of the sword when a sudden chain appeared around my wrist that was attached to something else. I grew weary placing the sword down but the chain didn't disappear. "Damnit, I thought that would work. Maybe let's try breaking it," I grabbed my sword with my left hand, anxious that it may chain my wrist, but fortunately it didn't. Y/n tried to slash the chain but it didn't break. A sudden tug on the chain caused her to freeze in place. She looked in the direction of where it came from and saw the chain start becoming shorter turning the corner. It started guiding her through a series of hallways and occasionally down a few staircases until it stopped in front of a set of double doors with a giant wheel in the center.

The wheel had rose gold gears around it and a place specifically for my sword to put into a slot. "Okay, I've had enough now. Let's wake up!" I held the sword to my throat and felt the cold sensation shock me into hesitation. "Let's do my wrist instead," I spoke to myself, lowering my sword to my wrist- slicing into my flesh as blood tainted the sword. "Fuck! Ouch! Okay, that hurt more than I thought but," I stop mid-sentence not seeing any change in scenery. Y/n hairs stood up on the back of her neck even more anxious. She's not usually a dreamer on occasion and hurting yourself to wake up usually works and yet no progress was made whatsoever. Y/n turned her heel to head back to the room she woke up in to see if she could find some way to wake up. The door with the giant wheel will probably result either in her real death or waking her. Right now she values her life so that's off-limits for now.

I was about to turn the corner when the chain prevented me from going any further and yanked me back toward the door. "Okay listen chain, I am not going through that door, you stingy asshole!" I tug the chain just like it yanked me only to have it drag me back to the door. Y/n stood up on her feet, "Okay, okay you win! I'll open the fucking door but if I die- you die too since you're my dream!" I believe conversing with inanimate objects is normal to release stress. Let's pretend y/n is doing that now. Y/n slowly placed the sword into the slot when the ground shook underneath her feet as the gears screamed in agony. The sound was unbearable making Y/n plug her ears trying to hurry and back away from the door. The chain around my wrist disappeared and in an instance, I grasped my sword sprinting down the hallways.

Y/n was looking for an exit- the gear shrieks echoed through the entire building. My heart was crying, my brain aching, and my breathing becoming short with every step. I climbed the stairs two at a time almost falling but my adrenaline wouldn't allow that. I came upon an intersection when the gears shrieks went quiet. There was no noise, except my breathing clogging my ears. Blood from her cut dripped down her hand onto the floor sizzling as if it were poisonous to the floor. I looked down each hallway. One with a large grandfather clock big enough for someone to hide and another where I found my sword. The last hallway was in ruins but a large window was at the end. Y/n tried using Sunder Speed yet it backfired sending an electric current through her body in the process which made her screech in pain. Her abilities were useless here so with her remaining adrenaline left she ran toward the window.

'My vision was blurry although my freedom was close so I can't give in now!' I heard something crash into something chasing after me with animal-like screeches. I was about to launch my body through the window when the wallpaper peeled off that was supposed to be the window. 'No! No! NOOO!' I screamed internally feeling my legs about to give out. The floor above Y/n started to collapse along with the masonry underneath her feet. She fell through the floor into a dark abyss seeing a hand trying to grab her. "AHH!" Y/n sprung awake stumbling out of bed hyperventilating and checking her surroundings. She was back in the guest room at last. A few tears trickled down her cheeks and became a river. One thing for sure she won't be able to sleep for the next couple of days after that.
