"Good morning," Spencer yawned when Aspen trotted into the open kitchen. On the other side of the apartment, Alan was busy grabbing his things.
"Be good today, boys!" he called, and then he disappeared out of the door.
Aspen hooked a finger into the waistband of his sweatpants and looked at the plastic device on his cock with a sigh.
"I'm sorry," Spencer said, "that we have to suffer together."
"Don't worry about it," Aspen said, letting the waistband snap back into place. "He's not doing this so you don't have to suffer alone. He's doing this because he can and he knows I won't stop him."
Aspen sat down next to Spencer, and they finished their breakfast in silence.
"You've met Thea," Spencer said, and he put down the tablet he'd been holding. Before the screen went black, Aspen could get a glance at some article opened, but he had no idea what Spencer liked to read for breakfast.
"Yeah," Aspen mumbled, stirring more milk into his coffee. His slightly sour mood from the night before was still present, and he had to pull himself together so he wouldn't snap at Spencer.
"What do you think of her?"
"She seems nice. I hope I'll like her better than Alan - sorry."
"I know my fiance is a handful, dude," Spencer laughed it off, "and I know he's being tough on you."
"Do you talk about-"
"No. But he found out that you're tying me up because last week you gave me terrible rope burn."
"I'm sorry."
"'s fine. So, Thea."
"I-" Aspen started, then he dropped the spoon he'd been holding on his plate. "I like her, and I'm looking forward to submitting to her."
"Have you ever dated a woman?"
"I'm not going to be dating Mistress Thea!" Aspen exclaimed, shoving Spencer so he slid off his chair. "And yes."
"Is that something you miss? Dating one gender when you're currently with the other?"
"No, not really. But I do have some days where I wish there wasn't so much pressure when it comes to dating. I like being single as much as I'm currently liking this ... arrangement I have with Alan, and I wish we as a society would stop pushing the agenda that everyone has to date and be in a relationship instead of focusing on their career. But then again, I am a man, so I'm one to talk."
Spencer nodded his head in affirmative, and then he got up to gather his dishes. "I have to go study now, so I'll see you later, yeah?"
"Good luck."
Aspen watched as Spencer loaded his dishes into the dishwasher and grabbed his tablet from the table before he disappeared into Alan's office - which was a room Aspen wasn't allowed in.
Aspen sat at the table in silence for a couple of minutes, replaying last night's events in his head.
He was immediately rewarded with the uncomfortable feeling of having his cock go hard with no space to fill, and he sighed again.
Alan liked playing mean a little too much.
He turned, swiping the list with errands off the kitchen counter behind him, and skimmed it.
One of the items jumped out at him: Call Thea to order cupcakes with a little arrow that was prompting him to turn the paper over.
He found a list of cupcakes, a phone number, and the note that they should be done by Monday morning.
He groaned. Had Alan planned this? He got up, clenching the paper in his fist, and marched back into his bedroom to grab his phone.
He dialed the number without thinking and then stood there, his thumb hovering over the button that would start the call.
Anger was still bubbling inside him, but he forced himself to sit down. Then he pressed the button.
The dull ringback tone filled his ear, and then the line clicked.
"Thea Silva custom cakes, how may I help you?" Thea answered the phone, and she dropkicked Aspen out of his state of shock.
He cleared his throat. "Hi, Mistress Thea," he said hesitantly, "this is Aspen."
"Ah, hello, pet. Good to hear from you. How are you holding up?"
"I'm well, Ma'am. You?"
"Busy, busy," Thea replied. A moment of silence. Then: "What can I do for you?"
"I'm calling for Alan," Aspen said, somewhat hesitantly. "He needs about 50 cupcakes by Monday morning at 10."
Thea groaned. "That bastard. I bet he has you calling me so he doesn't have to listen to me cuss him out."
Aspen stifled his laugh. "Can I place the order anyway, Ma'am?"
"Yeah, go ahead."
Aspen rattled it off, and when he was done, Thea sighed again. "Do you know how to bake cupcakes, pet?" she asked.
"I'm afraid I don't, Ma'am."
"I'll have to teach you then, so you can do it next time he wants something like this. Please tell him to call a week in advance next time, before I have to come over and throttle him."
She gave a little laugh at that. "Is this your private phone number?"
"Yes."
"Good to know, pet. I'll see you soon, yeah? Be good."
"Of course, Mistress. Have a good day. Bye."
If Thea could throttle Alan, couldn't Aspen as well?
He turned the list over again, taking in the rest of the things Alan had written down for him. Grocery shopping, laundry, dinner, a new table arrangement from the florist, and apparently Alan had some suits at the dry cleaner that needed picking up.
At least all of those things were manageable tasks, and none of them included anything kinky that Aspen would feel embarassed about doing in public.
Alan had taken him into a sex shop to get his collar and have the tags engraved, and Aspen hadn't liked that experience at all.
His phone beeped, announcing a text message - from Thea.
It contained her adress, and the time she wanted him over for their next meeting.
All of a sudden, the reality of the situation Aspen had found himself in hit him like a slap to the face - again.
