I Fell Again

Dear Diary

"So you are new too?" asked Cassie to Leo on day after the lunch.
"Yeah , I am ."
"Woah that's great."
Cassie had got quite close to Chris , Leo and Collette over the past few days. It felt great to be so happy.
Her Aunt had some work so she couldn't pick her up and had told someone else to pick her up.
Cassie was fine with walking back home alone rather than going with the someone she has go to with.
"Riri you live right across the street can't I come with you?"
"Come where?"
"Home."
"I am doing a night stay today with someone , I am directly going to her house"
"Ughh why? Just why?"
Looked like there was no other option than to go with Zac.
"Can I die?"asked Cassie
"Oh come on ! Zac can't be that bad."
"Yeah he isn't bad he is terrible."
"I heard that."said Zac who was waiting for Cassie with his Aunt and sister.
"Why does she have to come along?"asked Zac
"Her Aunt can't make it to school today so she asked-"said His Aunt
"Nevermind let's just go." said Zac.
Cassie sat beside his sister .
"Hey , what's your name?" asked Cassie.
" Adelena." replied the little girl.
"Thankyou for saving her that day."said Zac's Aunt.
"It's alright." said Cassie.
"No no it was really great of you to do it. I am  Ava  by the way" said Zac's Aunt.
"Do you know some good nanny who can take care of her after her mom is at work." said Ava.
"Don't you take care of her?"asked Cassie.
"I did I mean I am getting married so I will be leaving." said Ava.
"There's no need for a nanny I am there fo-." said Zac.
"I don't think I know some nanny." said Cassie .
"I said there is no need for one." said Zac.
There was silence in the car after that.
After about 15 minutes Cassie asked "Where is her school?"
"Near Ove Palace." said Ava.
" That's near my Aunt's Office what if I can babysit her?"
"Yeah that's a gre-" said Ava.
"I can take care of my sister." said Zac.
"Cassie saved her that day when you were not there." said Ava.
That was it Cassie was gonna babysit Adelena and no protests from Zac worked.
Zac's Aunt got married the following Sunday and then it was up to Cassie to take care of Adelena.
"Hi Adelena so what all do you love to do?" asked Cassie.
" I love painting." said Adelena shyly.
"Oh don't be shy , you know when I was your age I was shy just like you are but when I was nervous I used to imagine the scenario in my head in which it went perfectly then things used to go perfect."
"Really?"
" Yes really."
They spent the afternoon painting and then her mother came to take her.
"Bye Adelena." said Cassie.
"The people who I love call me Adi."
"Ok Bye Adi."
Days went on just usually .  She called her mother one day.
"Mother , can you all come on my birthday." asked Cassie.
" I am quite busy so is your father." said her mother.
" Well then send Caleb with Fiona." said Cassie.
" I won't send him with a stranger."
"Fiona isn't a strang-"
Calls cuts.
"Ok Whatever , I will video chat him." thought Cassie.
She convinced herself but that was not what she wanted.
Her Aunt heard all this , not that she meant to eavesdrop.
She quietly went in a corner and took out her phone and called her sister.
Cassie went to Zac's house for babysitting Adi as she wanted her to feel comfortable.
Zac opened the door and they both walked past eachother like they had never even met eachother.
She went to an airy room on the left .
She carried few things to keep Adi busy.
She took out a sparkly book with lots of doddles in the cover.
"This is my diary." said Cassie.
"Wow , it is so pretty. Can I read it?" asked Adi.
"You can't it's a secret diary . Let's make one for you then you can write all about your day and the fake but good scenarios you imagined and how did it work out."
"That's a great idea." said Adi grabbing her art supplies.
They spent about an hour to paint a beautiful cover with the little dreams Adi has . Then they pasted that outside the book.
Cassie got a call from her Aunt that Fiona had come to stay over the weekend and leave after her birthday.
Cassie ran like a deer when it escapes the clutches of a lion.
Her Birthday was in two days which is Saturday. She had completely forgotten about that.
She saw Fiona and behind her Caleb.
Caleb had come she couldn't believe her eyes.
She went and hugged them both tightly.
" Caleb you came oh my god! And Fiona I missed you so much." said Cassie.
"You didn't say me good-bye." said Caleb
"I'm sorry I hope you forgive me  Cal." said Cassie.
"Of course I can never be angry with my sister."
They all go inside. They decide to watch a movie.
Doorbell rings.
Cassie goes to receive the door.
It was Zac.
"Why are you here?" asked Cassie.
"You probably should be sweet to your guest." said Zac.
"Uh huh you aren't my guest."
"This will probably change your mind." He takes out Cassie's diary.
Oh no she had left it back at his home. 
Did he read it? thought Cassie.
"Give me that." said Cassie in a clear sharp voice.
He gave it to her
"Did you read it" she asked
" Oh dear Diary , I met a boy ." said Zac making fun of Cassie.
"He made my doll heart light up with joy , oh dear Diary we fell apart welcome to the life -"
"You read it didn't you?"
He started walking back and then turned and said " I didn't , of course I won't it's your personal diary . Don't leave it like that not everyone does that. Thanks for making my sister so happy, I haven't seen her this happy in days. "
" Woah is that Zac he ain't bad." said Fiona.
" I uh-"
" You made me feel he is a bad person."
" This is the first time actually he was sweet , mostly he is mean."
" Well look if he can be sweet to you so can you." said Fiona.
"Whatever continue the movie."
Cassie always saw Zac like a annoying person this was the new side she saw of him.
"Most boys would have read the diary and then teased you about it but then of course maybe he did read it . One can never know." thought Cassie but she was wrong he didn't read it.
