They say life is like a ferris wheel. One minute you're at the top, the next you're at the bottom. And the cycle always repeat itself.
Things come and go, you'll feel sorrow, joy, anger in the process. But in the end, everything always passes by. Both the good and the bad.
Our life will always move forward, never looking back. No matter the conditions.
Which is why, long as you keep going, you'll eventually come around to where you started.
❝Life is like a wheel. Sooner or later, it always come around to where you started again.❞
That was a quote by a very famous author, Stephen King.
She used to call bullshit on that. If your life continuously moves foward, what makes anyone so sure it will come full circle?
If you're fortunate enough, you'll stay on top your entire life. And if not, well sucks for you.
If something or someone is a part of your past. Then that's all they ever will be.
Your life always moves foward alongside time. They won't stop, they won't wait. They won't look back.
It's in their nature.
Everything happens for a reason. What a stupid thing to say.
The incidents that led up to where you are now. All happened by chance.
If a relationship ends.
Things just simply didn't work out. It wasn't because it wasn't meant to be. It wasn't because it's not fated.
Something from the past will always stay in the past. Life won't ever look back. It only moves foward. What's already done and over with, can't be undone.
She's not a child. She knows better than to believe in meaningless words. Destiny? Yeah right, she could never take it seriously.
Or at least that's what she'd like to say.
However...
"Tanaka?"
What happened on her first day of high-school may just be the push she needed to start having a little more faith in this sweet, sugar-coated word.
He slowly turned his head to fully face the girl, his almost condescending smirk not faltering, "Yeah?"
His neat raven locks was messier. His feminine petite features and voice were long gone. Not a trace of them to be seen nor heard.
The sweet and soft voice he used to have, was now replaced with a deeper, more masculine, and you could even say harsher voice.
His innocent charm was no longer present either. He looked more mature, even when they're both still sitting, she could tell. The once shorter boy was now taller, way taller than before.
He didn't look like the kind boy she used to know at all. He was almost intimidating.
"You're really Tanaka?", Y/n leaned foward towards him. Subconsciously trying to inspect his face better. The pitch of her voice was higher. Showing her surprise and maybe excitement from seeing her first crush again after so long.
At the new closer distance between them. The corner of Kou's mouth fell for a split second. Before his smirk returned. He dropped his head down, making his forehead touch with the (h/c)'s.
"It's Mabuchi. Not Tanaka. My parents got divorced so my name changed.", Kou placed one of his hand ontop of the girl's head. With their foreheads still together. He locked eyes with her.
