"If you keep this up you'll really be removed from the advanced class."

The (h/c) groaned in response, gripping her phone tightly, "I get it, I get it..."

"You obviously don't. Your grades have been dropping since your second term. And your homeroom teacher told me you've been skipping class as well!", her sister suddenly yelled, prompting Y/n to pull the device away from her ear.

The girl's face scrunched up in both pain and annoyance. She held back from snapping at her older sibling, letting out a long sigh instead.

The (h/c) stayed silent as she made her way towards the fridge, taking out her half drunk coffee from the night before.

After awaiting the girl's answer for almost a minute, her sister finally spoke again, "Y/n? Are you still there?"

"My grades are fine.", Y/n argued. Knowing full well she's not failing any subjects. She took a sip from the straw, rubbing her eyes. Still sleepy from just waking up.

"They're not! If you don't get them up, you won't be able to live with mom and dad after highschool!"

"I don't want to leave. So it works.",

She could hear her sister sighed, one similar to her own.

"Let's just move on from that. I gotta go now. Keep the guest room clean, I should be able to visit soon. Since I'm graduating this year."

'Crap...', Y/n managed to stop herself from clicking her tounge.

She never liked it when her sister visits.

"Okay."

The two siblings bid their goodbyes.

Y/n finished her drink, throwing it into the trash bin.

She slumped down on the couch, placing her elbow on the armrest before resting her chin on the palm of her hands.

The ticking of the small clock echoed in the arguably small room. She's been living alone for almost four years now. Ever since her older sister got her scholarship.

Her new home was modest, two small bedrooms, a small bathroom, a small kitchen, a small closet that only fits one washing machine and dryer, a medium sized living room, and finally an out of place balcony that could barely fit one person.

The wall where the balcony's door was placed, was completely made out of windows. Almost as if they're trying to copy one of those fancy hotel rooms' design. The only way to get some sort of privacy in the living room, was by closing the curtains entirely. Which resulted in also covering the door to access the balcony.

The architect who designed this building. Either has a very unique and creative mind, or they're just shit at their job.

If three or more people lives there, the place would no doubt be cramped. But she didn't mind that.

After all, the smaller the house, the less she had to clean. And the landlord was nice too.

Rent was cheap, the place had good ventilation, electricity, and running water. What more would she need?

Her eyes darted towards the hour hand in her clock, 7 am.

She wondered why she got up early when it's Sunday. If she'd just slept in, she wouldn't have to sat through her sister's scolding.

The (h/c) pushed herself off the comfortable couch, standing up. When she turned to face her kitchen, her eyes landed on her friend's gym uniform, folded neatly on one of the counters.
