Zaylee smiled as today was baseball. She was dressed and ready as she walked downstairs, but stopped as she saw her brother and Bella Swan talking. She went to say something when she heard a knock causing her to run to the door. "Hi." She said as she saw Edward.

"Hi." He says. "Ready?"

Zaylee looked back in the house seeing Dallas and Bella in a deep conversation. She looked at him and nodded. "Let's go." She said as they walked out together. Edward groaned as he realized what she had on. Zaylee looked at him causing her to smile. "What's wrong, Edward?"

"You don't know the affect you have on me." He tells her.

Zaylee laughed as the drove off. "Oh, Edward. Only you can have me."

When they arrived, Zaylee got out with Edward and followed him. Instead of walking, Zaylee jumped on Edward's back causing him to laugh. Esme smiled as she saw how happy Edward was. "It's good to have you." She said as Zaylee kissed Edward as he joined Emmett. "I can have you as an umpire."

"She thinks we cheat." Emmett says.

"Well, you might be cheating." Zaylee said. "I'll be the judge of that."

Emmett looked at Edward. "You seriously have a feisty mate."

Edward nodded as Alice looked at them. "It's time."

Zaylee smiled as she watched them start the game. She never really questioned the game or the players. She found it interesting to watch them. She called Rosalie out, which ended in a glare causing Zaylee to glare back. Edward looked at Zaylee and Rosalie before Rosalie smiled a bit as she walked back in line.

"I never knew Edward was that fast." She said.

Esme laughed as Zaylee was enjoying herself. "Stop!"

Zaylee watched as Edward got beside her and held her. He wasn't panicking as Zaylee didn't have a scent. She grabbed Edward's face as he looked panicked and kissed him. "Edward, everything is going to be okay. I promise."

Edward nodded as he wrapped his arms around her.

At the Gilbert household, Dallas saw a picture of him, Zaylee and their parents. "You guys will be so proud of us." He said as he sat down. "It's not the same, but Zaylee is healing more and more as she is with Edward."

Hearing a knock, Dallas opened it to see Mike. "Thought us boys can hang."

"Sure." Dallas said as he shut the door. "Let's go."

At the field, Zaylee watched as Carlisle spoke to the nomads. James looked at Edward and Zaylee and saw how close the two were making him realize that Victoria wasn't his mate. When the wind blew, he took this as his chance. "You brought a snack."

The Cullens got in front of Zaylee to protect her. When they left, Zaylee looked at Edward. "Get her out of here."

"No." Zaylee said. "James is up to something and I don't think it's because of this hunt."

"It's a hunt, but he is hunting for his actual mate. Victoria lied to him." He said. "Seeing us had him thinking."

"So he is actually leaving."

Edward nodded. "He also has a plan to fake his death, but we have to help him."

Zaylee walked up to her house to see the lights were off. Edward pulled up to see Zaylee walking in. "Zaylee."

She turned and looked at him. Before she got the chance to say a word, Edward kissed her. Zaylee wrapped her arms around his neck as they walked in. Edward shut the door with his foot. She jumped up in his arms as he carried her up to her room. They pulled apart. "Edward?"

"I want to do this right." He said. "I want everything to be perfect when we start having sex."

"We can wait." She tells him. "I'm not in no rush to complete the bond with you. I just want to be in your arms right now."

"I can do that." He tells her as they lay together.

Zaylee smiled as she laid her head on his chest as she was falling asleep. Dallas arrived back and saw Edward's car. He went up to Zaylee's room to see Edward and Zaylee sound asleep. He shook his head as he went to his room to sleep. Edward looked at Zaylee as she slept and covered her up. "I love you, Zaylee."
