⚪Legolas POV⚪
The only thing I heard in these woods were the sound of sticks cracking under my shoes and the rustling of Anariel passing by a bush, except for that there was nothing but complete silence. A little while ago I was standing at the gate to close it when one of the guards told me Tauriel and Indiriel had ran away into the woods. Somewhere I had expected it from Indiriel, she always had been very boisterous and stubborn, but it still came as a shock. How can she go against the orders of our king? And what about Tauriel? Indiriel must've convinced Tauriel to come with her for some irrelevant reason. Which is why I'm searching for them together with my other sister, Anariel. I was so lost in thought that I didn't even hear the elf threatening me, it was only when my sister spoke I realized what was going on. "Stand down!" my sister shouted with a warning voice. Suddenly the elf fell on her knees and dropped her bow. "I am sorry your highness, I did not recognize you. Please forgive me." "Who are you? And what are you doing here?" I asked, ignoring her request. "My name is Eliza. I was send out by the king to see if the orcs had returned." The orcs didn't return, they were chasing the dwarves and since they have escaped the orcs have no reason to be here. And my father knows this too. "Eliza... Why are you really here?" I asked cautious. My question seemed to upset her because suddenly tears were welling up in her eyes. We stood there for a few seconds, uncomfortable and not knowing what to do. "Can I come with you?" she asked with a soft voice. "Why?." I asked trying to avoid her question. "It doesn't matter, I want to get out of this place." she answered with an unstable voice while another tear rolled down her face. "Fine, but we don't trust you!" Anariël snapped. Eliza nodded as she wiped off her tears. "Where are we going?" she asked, surer than before. "We're going after my sister and Tauriël." I answered slightly irritated because we had a new companion.
And so we went on.
