Little background on this story:
Y/N and Kie were oblivious to the idea of the other having feelings for them. That was until the group had decided to plan for the girls to just admit the truth.

Everyone knew it except them... I'm even sure that Y/N's little brother who wasn't even one yet knew the girl's feelings for one another. It was extremely obvious to everyone except them.

That's when JJ, Pope, John B and Sarah had decided that they were going to make both Y/N and Kiara realise what the other had felt.

The group had decided to hang out at the Chateau one evening in the summer of 2021 and after sitting around drinking cheap beer and smoking joints, they decided to play a few rounds of truth and dare. The group, not including Y/N and Kie, had this planned out so both of the girls can just admit their feelings to one another. It was simple really... one of the boys or Sarah would ask either Y/N or Kiara who they like and the rest was history.

Well they were hoping it would go that way so they can finally see their two best friend's happy...

But unfortunately, some things don't work out the way you want it to and that's life.

Kie was asked truth or dare in which she responded, "dare" and Pope had dared her to kiss the hottest person in the room. In which resulted in her lips attaching to JJ's. Everyone was shocked as to what actually just happened and after some silence, Sarah was the first one to the break the silence by saying "oh that was just fucked up," and Y/N ended up storming off, upset.

Kie was extremely confused as to why Y/N stormed off the way she did and decided to go after her. She had found her on the pier, hands covering her face as she was trying not cry. Once Kie was close enough, she asked Y/N if she was okay and Y/N decided then and there, she was going to be honest.

"No I'm not okay... the person I like a lot just kissed one of my best friend's and I'm not sure if I'm bad at reading signs but, I thought you were showing interest in me as well as tonight you held my hand and traced your thumb across the back of my hand and you wouldn't stop staring at me but I guess I'm wrong", Y/N had rambled on and on and didn't realise that Kie was gobsmacked as she just couldn't believe it. The girl that she has been crushing over since the moment she saw her, liked her back.

"I didn't think you'd like me back Y/N... that's why I decided to kiss JJ. The only love I know has broken ends and I just didn't want to ruin what we had if you didn't feel the same", Kie said and then shortly sighed afterwards as she was out of breath.

Y/N was the one who was the one speechless this time so she did what she has thought about for years. She leaned over to Kie, grabbed her jaw gently to make Kie face her and slowly leaned in, pressing a soft, delicate kiss to her beautifully plumped lips.

And that was the beginning of the perfectly imperfect relationship the two both shared.

I quite like writing this chapter. I don't know if anyone caught on that I mentioned a sound that I've seen multiple times on tiktok but I had to do it.
