"JIMINIE!!!!"

Great. There goes Mama again.

Jimin huffed a little and he dropped his things before going into his grandmother's room. Jimin had just finished taking off his outfit and makeup for the school play that showed that night. Jimin thought he did his best, though he wished his grandma would've been there to watch him perform.

"Yes, Mama?" Jimin responded. "I'm sorry, I was trying to take my makeup off."

"Oh, how I wish I could've been there to see you shine like a star!" She said. "You've always had such a beautiful voice...you're a born singer, Jiminie."

Jimin smiled at that. "Thank you, Mama...that makes me feel so happy."

"Of course, my baby...Now, I know I should be asleep right now, but I need to talk to you about something very important okay?"

Jimin became hesitant. Every time his grandma told him something important, it either made him really sad or really mad so he didn't know if he wanted to hear it.

"Mama...do you have to tell me now? Can you just tell me in the morning?" Jimin asked, but his grandmother shook her head. "I can't...I have to tell you now because I won't be able to in the morning."

"What do you mean by that...?" Jimin frowned.

"Tomorrow, I—I'm going to the hospital and I'm only going to have 3 days left," Mama told quietly. She closed her eyes, scared to look at Jimin after she said that.

She was scared to hear Jimin's reactions too. Knowing that he always reacted horribly by either screaming at her angrily or just sobbing uncontrollably.

But she heard nothing. Mama opened up her eyes and looked over at Jimin. Jimin's eyes were red and black tears from his makeup were rolling down his cheeks. Little sniffles were coming from him which broke his grandmother's heart.

"I know, Mochi, I know," Mama motions for him to come to her, and he broke. Jimin couldn't even been angry at her because he knew. He knew this day was coming, but he didn't want it to be this soon.

"What's going to happen to me...?" Jimin asked. "W-What will I do? Who will I-I live with?"

"This part...may make you upset, but I convinced your mother to move in with you," she replied.

Jimin rose up from her chest. "What?"

"I spoke to your mother last week. She's...doing better. I believe she's changed, and she misses you Jimin. I told her to come to Seoul, and she was hesitant at first because she didn't know how you'd feel, but I convinced her."

"Mama you know what she put me through...I don't trust this. I don't—I just," Jimin took a deep breath. "I don't know how I feel about this."

"Well, baby you're still a minor. You can't live on your own just yet. Maybe when you turn 18, you can move out, but your mother has to stay with you, or they're going to send you to foster care."

Jimin wiped his tears. "Fine. Good night Mama...I love you." Jimin gave her a kiss. "Are you still going to that party, Jiminie?" She asked.

Jimin shrugged. "I don't know..."

Jimin walked into his room and cried some more. Tonight was Taehyung's birthday party and Jimin was invited to the birthday party, but now he didn't want to go because of the news told to him, so he decided to text Taehyung to let him know.
