Stacy's POV:
I hear the door to our small cabin open and close. I climb out of my big cosy chair I set down my book "The 21 Balloons" and get up to investigate. I see my mother talking to my farther, who just came back for my grandparents dairy farm judging by the state of his jeans. My parents see me in the door, and huge smiles on their faces.
"Hi Stacy" my father says, as he hugs me.
"Hi daddy!" I say as I poor some dog food into Page and Molly's bowls.
"Stacy, do you remember us talking about that school we wanted to get you into?" My mother asks.
Because of how small are town is, there is no school, and because of an online test I took my parents want me in the best school. And I love to learn, so I would love to go to school.
"Well, you were accepted in an amazing school!" My dad exlaims. After he said that, I exploded in excitement. Even though, I will be away from my parents, Page and Molly. I didn't have any friends, so that wasn't a problem. I kissed both of my parents, and ran to my room to start packing. Only thing super important, and the thing I couldn't forget, sweaters. Have to cover it.
The next morning, we got up early and walked to the airport. When my plane arrived, it was time to say goodbye. My mom started crying and I told her I'll be back for Christmas. When saying goodbye to my dad he whispers.
"Please, stop. At least try."
I break away, and nod. I walk on to the plane. This is it.
