Chapter Eight

Carmen pov

I stood there letting the sun beat down on me, as he was lowered down. I promised keller I wouldn't do anything rash because he was watching over me. But after this and as soon as we get back someone is going to get the shit beat out of them. I clenched my fists and shut my eyes and took deep breaths to control my anger.

I looked down the hole Keller was being lowered into and shuddered as if it was ten degrees outside. I wore my black mission uniform with a black veil to hide my hazy eyes

When the casket reached the bottom I turned my face to the side and let out a shaky breath. I know that whoever did this will pay and when I am back on my feet I will have train harder than ever. I won't let any one I love go 6 feet under again.

soon the howls of our fellow warriors and pack mated cracked through the air and could be heard for miles.

Later Jax took me to a empty hallway and calmed me down with kisses. It was how it  was now, he was the one to calm me down

UNKNOWN POV~

"Good job you killed the brother, But you Missed the perfect opportunity to get her!" I yelled in the phone and hung up.

She was vulnerable and they didn't get her, I guess now we have to kill her Father then get her. But now I think I should pay her a visit and say hello. I got up from my desk and went to the garage and got in my all black suv.

I pulled off when my phone started ringing, I groaned and picked it up.

"Hello Alpha Ca-" I was about to say when some Idiot cut me off.

"Hello Alpha this is roman and the next mission is under go" He said and hung up. I smiled and cheered, I should have called the vampires a while ago.

Carmen pov

"Jax I am going to the store within pack territory" I said and he rushed down the stairs.

"Why do you need to leave I have everything you need, Stay and come help me with training " He said and I got really irritated.

"I need to be on my fucking own for a bit before I snap" I yelled then punched the wall

"Okay but don't get into any trouble " he said while walking back to his office

"No promises" I whispered and he chuckled

I pulled up to the local store and got out locking up the car

I made my way through the aisle looking for a few snacks, I sifted through stuff and found nothing healthy, I sighed and looked up. I instantly got ready to fight when I saw a 30 year old man staring and me lustfully. I linked Ajax quickly and let him feel I was uncomfortable. I knew he would be here as soon as he could.

"Can I help you?" I asked looking back down and pulling out the daggers I always had on me to be protected. They were silver plated and had green emerald handles.

I hid them in my sleeves and continued to watch him closely

"You are very pretty, What's your name" He said and he grabbed my waist and pulled me into him.

"The name isn't important and I need you to get your hands off me before this gets ugly," I snarled and he pulled me closer. I kneed him in the manhood and swiftly took out my daggers.

" you should have listened" I smirked as he groaned

He jumped up and swiped his bear like hand at me. I ducked back and he missed stumbling forward. I sniffed the air and could sense his power he was an Alpha. He caught me off guard and kicked my knee out. I fell down and he put his heavy foot on my back and put pressure on my spine.  I used all my strength to push up and knock him down but my dagger slipped out of my hand.

"What the hell is your problem!" I shouted

He swiped my silver dagger across my arm hard enough to leave some scarring. I heard my blood sizzling at the contact of the silver.

"Tell your mate that I am coming to take what is mine,"  He whispered in my ear and he leaned down to kiss me. I couldn't contain my anger any longer, I saw red. I started to shake. I shifted underneath him and threw him off me. I ran at him and scratched,bit and clawed all over him.

I almost killed him

I scratched him one last time and stood back as he sped away then shifted only to realized I shredded my clothes. I looked over on a rack to find something to cover up. All they had was giant t-shirts that read ; Wolf Country

I looked and the mess I made and sighed then grabbed. I grabbed a water then took out a wad of cash,slammed it on the counter then left. I looked around the lot and saw Ajax running to me with around 20 warriors.

"You're late, He is gone now" I said He pulled me into him as the warriors went inside the store.

I hissed when he squeezed my arm, He dragged me to the car and drove off. By the time we got home I was ready to sleep or train I couldn't decide.

"Sara, Help her she was attacked and I didn't get there in time" Jax took me to the doctor who was also a healer so it would be easy.

"Okay let's see" She said as she lifted my shirt I hissed and Jax growled.

"Alpha please leave I can't get my work done when you breath down my neck" sara pleaded. He huffed and walked out.

She put her hand on my arm and forehead and started to hum

As she hummed a soft blue light emitted from her palm. My arm started to shake violently and blood poured from my wounds. I grunted and tried to move away but I couldn't move at all.

"Shh I am looking through your system for poison" She whispered, she suddenly stopped and gave me the all clear.

Ajax walked in, "That guy threatened you didn't he?" He question and I only nodded as I stretched

"He said he was going to take what was his, I think It was the guy who called me the night Keller died" I said looking him in the eyes,

With that he let out a growl so loud the whole house shook
