Chapter Eleven

Unknown POV

I watched as she sat in the airport waiting for her connecting flight. She got up and walked away so I followed her.

She walked down a long hall towards the bathrooms, As she closed the door behind her I pushed through the door and shut it behind me, locking it so we wouldn't be interrupted.

When she turned around she tried to scream but my hand was clamped over her mouth tightly.

"Hello love" I whispered into her ear

"What are you doing here?!" She whisper shouted back

"Ayan, baby you know I always come to collect what is owed to me" I spat into her ear shifting my hand to a firm grip on her neck.

"I don't have it yet you pig" She gasped out, "I'm on my way to get it" I tightened the grip around her porcelain neck.

"Somehow I think you are lying, love" I kissed her cheek as tears slid down

"I swear! I will get you your crystal" she coughed out after I threw her to the ground.

She weakly stood up and I scoffed rolling my eyes.

"That gem is one of the final things I need to get my plan in motion, and if you want to stay in my good graces love...you'll bring me lycan blood as well" I smiled knowing where she was headed

Her eyes widened, "I- I- I can't get lycan blood" she sputtered out.

I growled and smacked her across the face, sending her to the ground yet again crying.

"Don't lie to me love, you have 30 days or you pay with your life" I snapped and left the room

Carmen Pov

A date... I was going on a date. Not just a hang out but my first real date, With my destined mate.

What has my life become?

Two months ago I was fighting on the frontlines of a gnarly war zone with blood and twigs in my curly hair and now I have clean curly hair looking at myself in the mirror. It's not that I didn't want to go on the date but it just felt wrong. Like I am someone that I don't know...like I forgot all of my training.

That's what Ajax does to me, he makes me feel things through our bond. I have tried so hard to fight and and push it away. To push love away. Because it was ripped away from me when I was only 6 years old.

But here I stood going on a date in black ripped jeans and a crop top that missy styled me in. she tried to get me to wear some cliche ass vans, but I opted for my new favorite steeled toed combat boots and my leather jacket.

"You look hot" Jax said walking into the room with stacks of pack work in his hands.

I just blushed and rolled my eyes pretending that his words didn't affect me. He went into the closet to, I assumed, get dressed. When he came out he was in black fitted jeans that hung low on his waist and a white long sleeve tee paired with a black beanie and boots. Damn I wanted to forget the date and jump his bones.

"Lets forget the date and fuck..." I let it slip from my mind and out my mouth without even knowing. Jax had my against the wall so quick I let out a yelp.

"Be Careful of what you say around me woman, I am a man of action and I will take you right here and right now if that is what you want" he whispered huskily in my ear then trailed his tongue down my neck. My eyes fluttered to the back of my head and my wolf purred with satisfaction.

"H-how about l-later after our date" I said regaining my composure and I slipped away from him and ran out the door. He followed shortly after adjusting himself while walking.

"Where are we going?" I asked and he just smiled and took my hand and led me out the door.
