Chapter Nine

AJax POV

SLAM! She grunted and got up and cracked her neck. Quickly back into fighting stance she growled at me.

"You need to focus you are driven by rage and that will get you nowhere. I can read all your moves!" She was so angry about what happened to her brother, and impatient as we waited for my scouts to find out more on the attack.

"Okay, okay Let's take a break I need to cool off" Carmen muttered while stretching

"Okay I will be back in a few I need to check on a few things and bring more water" I said, walking over to her and planting a kiss on her soft lips. Beautiful Grey eyes looked up at me and I kissed her again this time a little harder, more passion, more love.

She kissed back with the same passion and ran her hand up my chest. My heart was pounding and blood was racing through my body. I pulled away to kiss on her neck as my hand slid lower down her back. She let out the smallest noise which encouraged me to continue, but just as I was about take it further the door flung open and in walked Channing. I stopped everything while Carmen hid her face in my chest.

"Woah...Sorry Aj, but the scouts are back and they have news you aren't going to like,I know you might wanna finish up here so....meeting in ten." He clicked his tongue and winked rushing out of the room.

"Uhg that was so embarrassing" Carmen groaned as she pulled away,

"Maybe next time we can do that behind locked doors," She winked at me then turned to walk out. Damn was she a sight for sore eyes, I hated to see her leave but loved to watch her walk away. She was tall, slender, and toned. She had amazing hips that swayed when she walked and a nice as-, My thoughts were cut short as she stood at the door looking back at me.

"Why don't you take a picture then you could stare all you want," she smirked after quoting what I said to her weeks ago and left.

That was the woman I was going to marry...

"Who was the leader of the group?" Carmen asked for the millionth time

"Would you hold on I'm getting to that" Channing said irritated.

"Do not talk to her that way" I growled at him

"Sorry Alpha" he sighed, "Like I was saying this isn't your average rouge pack, They are led by a magical entity, we analyzed one of the rouge bodies and they were genetically modified with...some kind of dark magic," Channing was nervous I could sense it.

"Dark magic? Who uses dark Magic?" Then it hit me, then Channing realized as well.

"Do you think Ayan knows?" I questioned Channing

"Who's Ayan?" Carmen asked

"She's a Witch or something but she knows a lot about dark magic and thing I'll call her and invited her here," Channing rushed off to make the call

I turned to look at her beautiful face, and smiled,

"Don't worry we will find out who was behind the attack and defeat him and any other threat as king and queen" I whispered

She then reached up and smashed her lips into mine

"As king and queen" she said back
