You squirmed as you were lifted off your feet, fighting and kicking as you tried to get away. You could hear Clary fighting as well. You turned and realised that you were being carried into a small building. When they finally sat you down, you were tied to a pillar, while Clary was sat on a chair.

You weren't listening to what they were saying to Clary, focusing on trying to loosen whatever they'd tied you to the pillar with.

"I've made a huge mistake." You heard Clary say. "Please! I don't know what you want. Just let my friend go!"

"The demon, where is it!" They demanded.

"Demon? Demon's aren't real!" Clary insisted, there was a person standing in front of you, blocking your view. But when you leant and twisted to one side you could see between their legs, just a small slither. Clary was tied to a chair, something large drooling was snapping and snarling near her. It looked like a large dog from what you could make out. You twisted more and suddenly felt yourself jolting forwards. You tried not to slump all the way forward, hoping that no one would notice. Something warm fanned across the back of your neck and when you straightened up you turned to see a massive dog. No. A huge wolf. It snarled and barked at you. Everyone turned their attention to you.

"No! Please!" Clary shouted. The wolf got closer and you watched it wearily. It's teeth bared and you could see thick strings of drool forming a web in its mouth as it's jaws opened. There was a loud crash and one of the doors that were across the room exploded off its hinges. The door skittered across the floor, knocking down Clary's chair and stopping inches from your feet. It caused everyone to start running around. The wolf hurried forward, away from you and past the crowd of people. You started to pull furiously and try to free yourself.

"I've got you!" Clary called. She was wounded but she'd freed herself and joined you in trying to free yourself. Once she had you loose, she beckoned to you and led the way out of the building.
