Andrew couldn't believe his eyes. Nothing could have prepared him for this moment, for the worst memory of his entire life: ship fanfiction of him and his cousin, Matt. Nothing disgusted him more, and yet the other Man just kept reading it, Andrew begging him to stop. It brought back the all too familiar feelings of stupidity and agony, for his father had once believed Andrew was partaking in incest. Hell, Andrew didn't even like Matt as a cousin anymore, why would anyone put them together? Scrolling and scrolling, the man went through pages, until he stopped on a strange tag. Andrew and the Man looked at it quizzically, it was a pro-Matt tag. Those were rarer than gold, but at least gold was worth something. The tag read " Matt, my precious egg baby." The man below Andrew let out a sound that could only be a broken sounding snort.
"Precious egg baby? More like evil..... lettuce demon!" Andrew lost it. He laughed and laughed and laughed, harder than he ever had, his whole body in a giggle fit. After a few minutes, both men were back to their serious fanfic-reading faces. Still, Andrew couldn't help remembering the past. The lies, the false accusations. How he couldn't even think about the awful subject of sex without his whole body shivering. Steve understood, Steve listened, and so did Matt. It was a rare time where two became three, and Andrew didn't feel so isolated and freakish. He came to terms with his sexuality, that he was asexual, and he finally understood another one of his supposed oddities. So it was only natural that incest fics were not his cup of tea, and that he was ready for his favorite fanfiction tag: Everyone Lives, No One Dies. At least those fics were written by good, hardworking writers who don't have a sex-based focus, Andrew thinks. He knew from that day on, eggs had just become his least favorite breakfast food.
