WARNING: Way too many Star Wars references, but no genuine spoilers.

The skies in Seattle was a bright blue mixed with the slight colors of yellow, orange, and red as the sun faded slowly into the distance. There were no guns, no screaming and protesting. Just two men flying through the city hand in hand, laughing as they ducked light poles and saw who could touch a car without hurting their hands. They flew for what seemed like hours until they stopped to breathe and laugh. Somehow, the topic of Star Wars popped up, and the two talked about who their favorite characters were. Andrew favored the newer Siths, Darth Vader and Kylo Ren. The Man enjoyed the lesser known characters of Ezra Bridger and Ahsoka Tano, but also loved Han Solo, for who couldn't? It was a joke that they were Force wielders, people even called the two "real live Jedi" as they fought primarily with hands and an invisible Force. They were no such thing, for their code was not like the Force, they could never be Jedi. They were like Sith, Master and Apprentice, never straying away from one another for too long. The Man soon came to be known as Double Entity, a symbol of love, family, and protection as well as hate, death, and a cold silence. The Apex Predator and The Double Entity, they were far beyond any other on the earths they encountered, helping each other through every battle they fought, no challenge too great. But when one fell, the other flew down with them, picking them up. As happy as the night was, they both had their share of pain eating away at them. Andrew looked at the Man, suddenly having an idea in his mind. "Hey." "What?" ".... Who are you?" The man didn't know how to answer, until he suddenly did. "I'm an Apex Predator." "And what are you?" The man now had no doubts as he spoke, "I am stronger than this." Andrew did it. He had just successfully come up with a secret catchphrase. "Dude, that sounded like a fucked up version of a Jedi mantra." Andrew giggled, smiling at the man across from him." "This ain't like Jedi mantras, Drew. This is like... more. We understand our Force, but we're like... making ourselves remember that we can control it, that we are stronger. Just the two of us." "And Steve." "And my friend Steve! Do do do do do do, Steve!" The man sang jokingly, Andrew laughing at how much the song fit. He never wanted the Man to leave, never wanted the Force between them to end. However, he knew that nothing could ever truly die, and the Man would be a ghost one day, watching Andrew grow stronger, watching him become the master of his ever-changing Force.
