Andrew really had no idea how powerful he was. The sky was gray, a sign of agony to come, but Andrew felt no pain. He simply drifted along, enjoying the ride the wind gave him, hovering over his home in a peaceful bliss. The darkness of the evening slowly swallowed him, leaving him to stare down as the city lights below started to turn on. All seemed peaceful, quiet, ordinary. Until the man fell out out the sky, his portal unseen, falling fast. A barrier of soundwave caught him, his anger so strong Andrew could feel it. Something was deadly wrong. Another burst of waves exploded, but Andrew, thinking quickly, caught them with his own abilities. For a moment, the two men stood in the sky, waves of worries and anger bouncing back and forth on one another. The power was tense, knowing. They both understood the feelings ricocheting in between them, they could feel their pasts closing in. Ready to destroy them. The betrayed feelings started getting larger, more waves bouncing off one another, until it stopped. The starter of these waves dropped suddenly, falling straight down, plummeting towards the buildings below. But Andrew flew faster, caught the man swiftly, leaving the waves of unseen emotions fall behind him. They were alone, just the two of them, in their home domain. The sky normally gave no answer to the troubles of man, but these were no ordinary men. The clouds turned into clear black, the world opening up before their eyes. But they needed a place to enjoy what the world had given them, and created one they surely had. They flew to Death Needle to sit, able to lay on their backs and watch the stars start to appear from out of the clouds. The storm had ended, no falling that didn't result in being caught. No open fields, no lightning strikes... Andrew wondered if he would have been a victim too if not for who he was. A victim of unparalleled strength. For betrayal often brought falling, whether it be from heaven or from grace. For now, they could simply relax, for the sky didn't take no for an answer when its children needed refuge.
