The Doctor and the Protector land the TARDIS inside the living room of the Tyler flat. It has only been about a month since the Protector has stepped inside of the house and this will probably be the last time.

The Doctor and the Protector walk out of the TARDIS, boxes held under their arms and packing tape around their wrists. The Protector lets out a sob when she looks around the living room, seeing how different it is now that her mum and Rose aren't there anymore. "Hey, it's alright. We'll take this one step at a time. I'll go and start packing up the kitchen. You can take whichever room you want." the Doctor tells his wife, making her nod her head. "I'll probably start with mine then head into mum's room to do hers. We can leave all mum's clothes here cos we have no use for them." the Protector says making the Doctor kiss the top of her head. "You're so brave. Come on, let's get this done." he says before walking off into the kitchen and the Protector heads into her room.

Soon enough, nearly the entire flat is packed and the only room that has yet to be done is Rose's room. The room that the Protector has been putting off for hours yet she knows that there's no use in putting it off any longer as it has to be done. So, stepping into Rose's room, the Protector puts down the boxes before beginning to pull books off shelves around Rose's room and bookshelf. After packing all the books, the Protector heads over to Rose's vanity and grabs onto a photo of her and Rose. It was 2004 New Years Eve and they were on their way back to the flat. They had just been out for a walk and they were laughing about something they were talking about.

A sob escapes from the Protectors mouth thinking about that night. Arms wrap around her, pulling her back into a hug. "Hey. Hey. Hey. It's alright. Everything's gonna be alright." the Doctor whispers to her.

"I miss Rose, so much..." she whispers.

"I know you do. But we're gonna get through this together." the Doctor begins. "Just like everything we've been through. We'll get through it."

"I know." she mutters, putting the picture back on the vanity. "I'm just... can you finish packing in here and I'm just gonna..." she says, trailing off.

"It's alright. You go and wait in the TARDIS. I'll be done soon." he tells her before the Protector nods her head and goes into the TARDIS and heads their bedroom and laying down, her back facing the door.

"You know. The last time I saw you in this position, you had opened the locket." the Doctor says, standing by the open door of their bedroom. The Doctor doesn't get a reply from the Protector, so he heads over to his side of the bed. "Lex?" he asks, sitting down on his side of the bed to see the Protector fast asleep, her face slightly puffy from crying. The Doctor smiles down at her, kissing her on the head before walking out of the room and back into the console.
