The next day kageyama went to practice 

"HEYY LOOK KAGEYAMAS HERE" hinata yelled loudly.

Kageyama slighty waves his hand but keeps his head down low.

"Are you feeling better kageyama? You can sit down if your still sick." Sugawara says.

"I'm fine."

Kageyama starts practicing on his own. His mind going crazy. He kept thinking about what happened between him and hinata. GOD why can't he stop?! He stood still staring at the ground for a while until he felt someone's hands on his shoulders.

Kageyama turns around and sees hinata with his hands still on kageyama's shoulders. Out of instinct kageyama pushed hinata away, he might have pushed too hard because hinata fell straight onto the floor.

"AH...ow.."

Kageyama realizes what he just did. He stands there, staring at hinata on the floor. Hinata rubs his head while looking confused. The team watched kageyama push hinata and now they were rushing over.

"Shoyo are you okay?"

"Are you hurt?"

"Can you stand?"

"Kageyama! What the hell!?"

Hinata and kageyama were now surrounded by the team.

"I..I-i..didn't.."

Kageyama stuttered. He didn't know what to say. His mind was already clouded with thoughts. Too much was happening.

"That was harsh...what did he even do to you..." Tanaka spoke up.

"Kageyama..apologize." Daichi says, sounding disappointed.

Kageyama wanted to just run away. Why him. Why did this happen. This happened because he was over thinking too much. He was doubting himself and the team.

His face turned a light red and his cheeks got puffy. Nobody noticed though. Kageyama puts his hand out for hinata to grab while looking away. Once he pulls hinata up he yanks his hand away.

"Now apologize kageyama." 

Kageyama is slightly shaking and looking at the ground. He clenches his fist. He wanted to punch something...or someone...it didn't matter, as long as he got his stress out.

"I....m....im...sor...ry.."

"Huh? What was that we couldn't hear you?"

"S..orry."

"It's okay.."

Hinata smiles and immediately gets back to talking and playing around. Since hinata was unbothered, naturally everyone else was too.

"Hey..don't take this the wrong way kageyama, we aren't trying to be mean.." a voice says from behind him. It was sugawara again.

"mh.." kageyama hums.

"Don't forget. We love you okay?"

Kageyama looks up after hearing this and stares into suga's eyes. His cheeks turn a darker shade of red and he gives and awkward smile.

Once sugawara walks away kageyama immediately walks outside. Once he's outside his eyes become ready and his cheeks puff up again. 

He was...crying?

 they weren't tears of sadness...but tears of happiness..

"No one..*sniffles*..Has said they loved me before..."

Kageyama smiles brightly as he wipes his tears. Why is he smiling? Because he. Is. Loved.

Little does he know...

...someone was watching him from behind..
