Taehyung could still feel the warm touch of Jungkooks hands over his ears. Even today, after that night it felt, Maybe only for a second that they were kids again
That they had forgotten everything.
Because even if he couldn't, Taehyung had always, ever since the day Jungkook stopped talking to him wanted to forget everything and just go back to normal
But he knew that even know, that wasn't possible. They could never go back to normal, not him. Not when his ability to talk, speak to him wasn't there anymore.
He could never be Tae again
So walking towards lunch, as he stopped in his track before the doorway to the big Cafeteria.
He couldn't understand why Jungkook would even do that to him that night, after the whole year he ignored him, why would he act like nothing that night
Gazing over the cafeteria, his eyes fell over the dark haired. Sitting in the cafeteria, at the table with his countless new friends.
And the girl that he had been having a thing with for a while stuck to his side.
He let his gaze turn away, feeling his heart sink among the sight. He didn't want to see it, didn't think he would see it again month's later since the day he left school .
They really did get so caught up.
"There you are! I wanted to ask you something"
Jimin came running to his side, sweat building under his hair strands as he almost stumbled before the confused blonde, His hands immediately reaching out to sink into his shoulders as a glimmered smile formed on Jimins face
Taehyung tilted his head slightly to the side, wondering what the other wanted to ask as Jimin looked around slightly.
"Well, it may sound absurd since we all have only known each other for a few weeks now"
Jimin started, a bit hesitant in his voice to ask as he didn't really know if it was something Taehyung would be able to do. Could be able to do with the circumstances he was in. But even so, he wanted to include him in everything possible
"So, there's going to be a party at a friends house this weekend. And I was wondering if you wanted to go with us?"
Jimin had continued, afraid he may have asked something he shouldn't as he watched the way Taehyung was a bit taken back at the question.
He hadn't been to a party, not since elementary school. And those one's used to be a lot different than the one's in high school. So being asked now, he really didn't know what to answer. Striding between the what if's.
But the way Jimin seemed to be so anxious about it made him think that maybe it wouldn't be so bad. Even in differences it could still be fun. And he had promised himself that now that he lives in a dorm.
He would do things he never got to do at home
A small smile formed on his lips making Jimins eyes widen, knowing the answer as he saw Taehyungs thumb point up as his yes.
Jimin immediately tackling him.
"You're my new favorite best friend!"
