It's quiet for far too long and Jungkook begins to lose his temper. Just when he had looked everywhere. Taehyung's parents house and every place he could of thought of where the boy could be. And he is tense, muscles tensing under his hardened face because he tried to stay calm. But it doesn't work, not when every minute passes by and Taehyung isn't there

Loses the confidence he had built up on finding him and that there's nothing but burning regret and clenched fists. He should know better than to open his stupid mouth, and not had let Taehyung leave no matter what.

His chest tightens and it's such à little thing to get so worked up over, but he's only ever good at fucking things up with Taehyung. And oh god, he feels like every nerve of his is going crazy if he can't find him any second now

But as his gaze gets over their old hometown. The cold breeze and aching familiar memor, he could only think of one last place he could. Already going there.

And as if his useless prayers had came to a sense. He found him, in the treehouse they had built

A shaked breath he didn't know he was holding leaving his lips.

Jungkook strides forward, and he doesn't think. And he takes another daring step forward, right until his crouched body hit the barrier and he's sitting hovered over Taehyung, staring right at him. And his hands cup the end of his face

"What are you doing here- have you eatan? did you even sleep?- fuck Taehyung"

Jungkook can't find his words, tries to keep his composure but he's breathing hard. And he's eyes pains to look at Taehyung, who's eyes tears up under his gaze

He wants to ask Jungkook the same thing.

By the darkness under his eyes, but even so he seems to only focus on Taehyung.

And he doesn't resist when Jungkook tugs him forward, pulls him down into his body. He doesn't gather himself to do anything when Jungkook holds him so close, tightening arms around his middle. Like it's desperate - afraid to let go. And his hot breath is just against the shell his neck

"Don't ever scare me like that ever again-"

Jungkooks voice is caught up, the kind that makes his heart sink and Taehyung slowly balls his fingers into Jungkooks jacket, his tears buried in his shoulder, as he only nodded, between his quiet sobs. He didn't realize how much he missed him, how much he could miss him after a year in just two days

And he promised Jungkook not to go to his parent's house without him

So he didn't. Even if he was mad

But they also promised to always stay together

He still doesn't understand his own emotions. Doesn't get why lately his way of patience has been so short. Because he knows it's okay, their past isn't perfect. And their choices weren't the best

They were just kids back then. Just stubborn kids who thought they knew better, knew the world better than anyone else. Reckless thinking and emotions that didn't understand.
That didn't understand what loving could do to a person, and how their big emotions could gather them into not understanding. What separation really meant

They were just kids.

"I'm so sorry Taehyung, I'm so fucking sorry"

Jungkook tenses out, clenches his jaw and asks. Desperate as Taehyung felt the tightens around his waist only deepen.

I know kook

And he could only nod, nod against his shoulder as he clutches his fists around Jungkook, and he could only breath, breath his tears by the hot breath of Jungkooks voice against his skin.
