"You coming?"
Jin asked as soon as he met Jungkook down the hallway. All of them ready to go out for the simple time they did have the break to do so. But Jungkook noticed there were a missing soul with them
"Isn't Taehyung going?"
"No, he tole me he had some school work to catch up on"
Jimin was the one to answer now, watching the way Jungkooks gaze kept itself on the blonde boys dorm the whole time. And he sighs deeply as if trying to collect himself.
Taehyung had been avoiding him the whole day and it was starting to piss him off. Everything seemed - was just fine until now. Taehyung wouldn't brace himself to even look him in the eye anymore
So he slowly walked passed the figures, feeling the annoyance already dwelling up in the back of his mind. He couldn't stand not being near Taehyung after the year that had already taken all of him
"I will be going later, you guys go ahead"
He told simply before he let himself walk over to the boy's dorm. Not caring to knock when he opened it, fingers draped around the handle.
And he was filled with silence.
Taehyung was leaning against the end of his bed, hands catches into his notebook as well as his fixated eyes that didn't look up once upon the presence following inside
Scribbling unreasonably on the note. Jungkooks leaned his weight slowly against the doorway, catching the way the younger still wouldn't bother to spare a single glance towards his own way.
"Why are you avoiding me?"
Taehyung hears him. At the blatant hostility in his tone. But he only stares blankly on the notebook in his hand. Pen curled up in his fingers, he looks small, unsure of his own body as he didn't want to look up. And he pretends he's not already feeling so suffocated by the other's voice.
He really didn't want to see him right now.
Can you please leave
The blonde had managed to write down on the tense note. Eyes still not daring to meet his dark one's as Jungkook's eyes rested upon his written words. But he didn't move.
"I'm not going to leave before you tell me what I have done wrong"
Taehyung usually finds comfort in the presence of Jungkooks, dwelled upon his heart. But now, it's tense and the space is almost breaking ice. He doesn't find himself knowing why he couldn't handle it.
Maybe he was selfish, he knew that. Selfish that even if he heard the desperation in Jungkooks words he couldn't find himself to understand him. To tell him that maybe what the words he had heard yesterday wasn't true.
And he's scared, that if he tells him. That they would become the gut wrenching truth
He finds himself feeling like crying. The radiance of his dwelling tears holding back as he couldn't handle it. He really was selfish, so so selfish. But in the end, he knew Jungkook didn't have anything to do with him that year, they weren't even friends anymore. He wasn't completely and the epitome of himself.
Jungkook had left him, and he had the right not to wait for him
I just want you to tell me if it's true. How many people did you sleep with Kook?
He had a feeling that if he didn't have to write these words, and instead let them leave his lips. They would stumble out in his own crack of voice and he would breakdown
