The blonde's gaze gathered themselves over his wardrobe, scattered emptiness in all the gaps as a sigh left his lips.
Even if his eyes were focusing on finding a shirt. His mind was drifting into something else.
He had forgotten his bag when he last visited his parents, leaving it there before he had went home. Because at that time he didn't think of anything to take with him than the precious notebook Jungkook got him, that his father's hand had shattered in pieces before his own tears.
And Taehyung doesn't know what came over him at that second, maybe it's the ever-present threat of losing something hovering over him. Or the constant tingling itch in his heart making him crazy.
But maybe it was also the bare thought of being afraid. That if he lost the single piece he had off Jungkook with him, he would lose Jungkook again
So his first thought wasn't his warmed clothes, or his bag left by his parents side of consistent and screaming words. Instead it was the notebook, the notebook who one wouldn't be able to look at in the store right now, breaked into something he couldn't recognize with his own eyes.
But Taehyung held on to it like it was the only thing he needed apart from the bag.
And he doesn't miss a beat, doesn't regret it even if he stands now in front of his emptied wardrobe
"Well that's one empty wardrobe"
Taehyung almost jumped from the sudden voice of Jimin behind him, a startled breath leaving his lips as Jimins eyes kept themselves over the clothes that weren't visible.
"Where's all your clothes?"
Jimin finally had began after he took his eyes of the other's Invisible clothes as he slowly gathered his legs over to take something from their fridge.
Meanwhile Taehyung settled with his phone, randomly taking a notes app to write down his words. Feeling so unfamiliar in his hands.
I forgot them at my parents house, and now I have nothing to wear for school tomorrow
Taehyung had gradually written down, his sunken eyes looking down at his phone when Jimin had finished reading his explaining words.
He really didn't want to go back to his parents
He also promised Jungkook, no matter what he wouldn't go without him again
For some reason it made the end of his lips tug into a small smile at the thought of him, at the thought of his words that could leave him feel like he wouldn't need to go back. Not when he feels he doesn't need to go anywhere when he's with the dark haired
"I have something perfect for you to wear other than your sweaters!"
Jimin exclaimed after his constant thinking, his legs instantly sprinting to his own small wardrobe.
And Taehyung watched him closely, wide eyed and confused.
What's wrong with my sweaters?
"Here wear this one tomorrow"
Jimin exclaimed, to excited as he hurriedly got out a shirt, gripped between his hands.
And Taehyungs eyes only widened when he slowly had taken it into his own hands, gulping down something he didn't know he had in his throat as he's eyes were fixated on the shirt in his hands.
It was a white one, reflecting into glass white as the material was visible through the outline of his fingers. Transparent skin showing through it's long sleeves.
And it didn't seem to be the end of it. Since he hadn't tried it on yet.
He slowly looked up at Jimin again, concerning eyes as he looked down at the shirt. Words were truly lost. Should he really wear this.
"It's okay for you to borrow it, don't worry about it. It's fun to try something new Taehyung"
Jimin reassured his worried state as Taehyungs fingers slowly gripped into the shirt further.
And his eyes sunk back into it, wondering if he should just go back to his parents and get the bag. But when the flash of his mother's face and father's raging mouth he couldn't help closing his eyes.
Hands clutching further into the borrowed shirt. Maybe it was okay for this one time. It's only a bit different shirt.
He didn't want to go back there anyways. So it should be okay.
"Besides- nevermind, are you going to wear it?"
Jimin halted in his words, before he could finish his first sentence. And Taehyung traced back his eyes on him before his own thoughts could change his mind.
Watching the way Jimin was eagerly waiting for his answer, already ready to go find another shirt if he did say no. But watching Jimins wardrobe it seemed both their sense of clothes were completely different.
Even though Taehyung finds Jimins clothes so beautiful on him. And maybe, he did want to try them. He never really got the chance to try new things when his mind was occupied with endless other things back there
So he slowly nodded, a small smile painting his lips
