"You're not planning on leaving this room are you?"
Yoongi told, a sigh leaving his lips once he leaned himself against the wall beside Jungkooks bed, where the dark haired was leaned against the headboard.
His head pounds, brain about to break through his skull, and the his eyelids feel heavy, dark from the lack of sleep.
And he doesn't feel like responding. He knows very well that he should probably already up. That he's been laying here for two days already. But his body feel stuck and he doesn't want to acknowledge the real fact that if he leaves this room everything will come down to reality
He wants to stay in this state until he convince himself that he can do just fine without Taehyung
"I just don't get it, what happened between you two?"
Yoongi tried, slowly handing over a cigarette to Jungkook, who grasped it between his tightened hand. And let it fall into his lips.
What didn't happen?
Jungkook had spent the majority of his life asking himself that question. Why did this happen, why was everything in this world so cruel against them. Against their own thoughts and misunderstandings.
And he knows, that it is his fault, everything. Even from the moment he had first laid his eyes upon Taehyung. Where he first braced himself with such an impact of how a boy could make his whole world turn in a second
He did, he did sleep around and he regrets the fuck out of every second of it. But he did it because everything he could think of, the moment he had to - forced to leave Taehyung was eating him alive
So he tried getting him out of his life, and he did it in the most stupidest ways. And he was young, still crippled by not understanding how to forget someone who had such an impact on your own ways of walking on this world. That's why he tried to get him out of his head, because he couldn't get him back no matter what
But even if he did try, sleeping around, fooling in the most outrageous ways,
Taehyung was always the first and last thing on his mind
"Fuck Yoongi, he doesn't know how much I love him"
Jungkook hesitantly reaches out to bury his fingers through his hair, voice treaded in so much pain that he had kept behind his lips. The first words he had managed to spoke since Taehyung and his argument. And it's croaked, truth threaded thought it. Hands burying themselves further through his hair, tightened fingers around his cigarette.
And he doesn't understand how anyone could really give a shit about someone that has messed up as much as him. How Taehyung. The one who's so bright and kind, and too good for him. Too fucking good, that could come back to him like that, after everything
And that Jungkook is still here, so selfish to think he only wants him back. Because he doesn't want anyone to ever take him away again
"You should talk to him Jungkook when he's back. You two clearly have so much to talk about"
Yoongi's tone was covered in concern, and Jungkook should have noticed. And listened, if it weren't for the way he got stuck on one thing his friend told.
Head instantly shooting up.
"What do you mean when he's back?"
A sense of dread begins to creep up Jungkooks throat. And his tone had instantly changed. The worst case scenarios already coming over his tensed body
"Jimin told me he had been out for two days now"
He pours Jungkook another shot of terror. And if all his scenarios came together, he was already up on his legs again. And a mortified gaze darkened his eyes as well as his tensed muscles.
The silence that follows after is engulfing. Hangs over them like a haze of dark clouds.
Except Yoongi is calm and confused, and Jungkook is still figuring out his ways to brace himself until all hell breaks through.
"Don't tell me he went there"
