Are you sure this is good enough?
"Yes! you look stunning, come on we're going to miss the party"
Jimin exclaimed once he read what the blonde before him had written, his eyes tracing over his silk white dress shirt, that felt to exposed for his own liking, the material to thin against his skin as he could see his collarbone showing as well.
But he didn't have time to think of these things, he was going to a party. Something he hadn't done in a while.
And it did. Fear him. Because he didn't how he should act, what he should do and how to do it in a way that his new friends won't think he's a burden. Just because of his ability to form words weren't the same as then
But even so, he knew he needed to go. Because he wanted to. Even if he could feel his fingers playing by the material of his shirt. He still wanted to go.
"Woah, it's a lot more people than I expected this time"
Jimin told out in a mumble as he gazed around the loud place by the entrance. They had just arrived here, their body's passing by people just by the entrance as they glanced inside the large placed space.
And the familiar sound of music beating against their body's, as well as the dimmed light washing over the people inside.
And just as they had stepped inside the suffocating space, Taehyung realized this was really different. Than the party's he went to in middle school.
And he also realized, that he found it hard to hear Jimin. With the music and the chattering glasses trading the air.
Back then it didn't feel as loud, and it didn't feel so tightened. He remembered the first time he went to one. Just as they had finished 8th grade and some classmates had found it incredibly necessary to start celebrating.
Like older people did.
So he went there. They went there.
Jungkook was the one he always went with. No matter what the other didn't - wouldn't let him go alone and no matter what they always stuck to one another on everything they did
So now, standing in this unknown place it felt so unfamiliar. Because it was also the first time he was here without the older
It didn't feel the same against his skin.
He slowly reached out his hand towards Jimin, tapping his shoulder lightly as he didn't feel like the other would be able to see his written out words now.
Jimin turned around, a smile painting his lips as he was searching for the rest of the group probably straddling the place.
A hum leaving his lips.
Taehyung slowly started to point to himself, the end of his finger pressuring slowly into his chest as he watched Jimin watch him carefully, his head slightly leaning to his thoughts when Taehyung then turned around. Pointing the same finger towards the entrance of the door
That was scattered with endless people, taping the space with their laughs filling the air around them.
"Do you want to go outside? sure but it's a but co-"
Jimin stopped his unfinished sentence when he watched Taehyung shaking his head, telling him that, that wasn't what he was trying to say, a small breath leaving his lips before he tried again.
His finger pointing the same motions as he watched eagerly at his friend to understand, but the way Jimins eyes squinted in confusion told him otherwise.
"I don't understand Taehyung, i'm so sorry"
He wanted to go home
And he wanted to say it, but he couldn't. So he softly smiled towards the other instead, shaking his head to tell him that it was okay. It wasn't his fault he couldn't understand what he was trying to say
Sometimes he couldn't understand himself. He knew it wasn't easy as he watched the guilt still linger a bit in Jimins face.
He didn't come here to ruin his fun.
"Oh! you want a drink? Of course I could get you one!"
Jimin exclaimed. Proudness on his tongue from finally understanding one thing Taehyung tried to motion again. As he watched the blonde nod
He didn't want a drink. But being able to get the other out there and have fun instead of seeing him feeling guilt over something he didn't intend him to do. Made him tell a little white lie.
"I'll be right back then, stay here"
Jimin almost yelled out as he disappeared into the crowd of people. A small breath Taehyung didn't know he had held in slowly leaving his lips when he didn't see Jimin anymore. Maybe his mom was right after all
His gaze softly looked around the space. Trying to find a way to get out of the crowd first. The tightening around him felt almost suffocated.
And that's when he slowly noticed the stairs, hoping it would be quieter as he started to let his legs head towards it. Before Jimin had the chance he could come back here once again. His face of guilt still playing in his mind
But what he didn't notice was how someone had noticed his figure walking up the stairs. Noticed him at the party just as a furrow creased his brows. Not seeming to realize as he got up from the hardened surface of his chair
Only to stop when he felt a slender hand grab into his arm. Her nails almost scratching against his tattooed skin.
"Where are you going Jungkook. This party hasn't even started"
