Three kids were laughing and giggling when a blinding light enveloped the trio, and they could no longer see the beautiful walls of their dance studio in the greatest city in the world; New York City. "W-Where are we?" the little girl stuttered, one of the boys holding onto her tightly in a protective manner.

"I'm not sure," replied the boy holding onto her. "But I'm sure we're safe!" nodding, they looked around the room from where they stood and noticed that there were couches around them as well as a kitchen area which was stacked with food. In front of the couches was a stage with a screen suspended above it, like what you'd see in a cinema.

"Do you think we could turn on there?" the second boy asked, titling his head slightly before looking back at his two friends. "Al? Es? You wanna try it out?" The two, Es and Al, looked at each other before turning to the boy before them and nodding. "Let's go!"

Climbing onto the stage, the trio gasped as they were able to take in the true beauty of the room. "Whoever can do a set of 3 wins," Es said as the two boys nodded. "Say, Jay, do you think we're the only ones here?" The second boy, Jay, hummed before shrugging. Rolling her eyes playfully, Es got ready to turn and the trio set off. However, as they came out of their turns, they heard voices below them which startled them.

"Holy shit!" Al exclaimed stumbling backwards.

"Al!" Jay and Es exclaimed, stifling their laughter as he faceplanted onto the floor of the stage. "Y-You good? Al?"

"You're both dead to me," he grumbled, voice muffled by the floor, whilst Es and Jay burst out laughing before helping him up. "Screw you both."

"Honey," Jay said as he pretended to do a hair flip. "You wish you could screw this." As he said it, the 10-year-old gestured to himself. Al just rolled his eyes before jumping down, with Jay right behind him. "Jump down, I'll catch you." Es nodded, jumping down and landing in Jay's arms. The trio turned to the group who had arrived, and Al did a double take, as did Jay.

"Hey, Jay, please tell me I'm not the only one seeing this right now," Al's voice shook slightly as he stared back at his older self, eyes wide. Jay merely nodded, holding onto Es slightly tighter. Clearing his throat, the boy recollected himself. "I guess introductions are in order, right?" noticing no one was speaking he grumbled. "Fine, I'll go first. My name is Alexander Hanes, I'm from the year 2016."

"I'm James Eddowes," James introduced, setting Es down beside him as he ruffled her hair. "Also from the year 2016."

"I'm Esperanza Washidoz!" Esperanza greeted excitedly, smiling brightly as Al and Jay put their arms around her. "Like these two idiots, I'm from the year 2016."

"Idiots?" Al asked, looking down at the girl questionably.

"Who's the one who faceplanted?" Al merely looked away, blushing lightly whilst the other two laughed. "What about you guys?"

"I'm George Washington from the year 1780."

"I'm Martha Washington from the year 1780."

"I'm Alexander Hamilton from the year 1780."

"I'm John Laurens from the year 1780."

"I'm Hercules Mulligan from the year 1780."

"I'm Marquis de Lafayette from the year 1780."

"I'm Aaron Burr from the year 1780."

"I'm Angelica Schuyler from the year 1780."

"I'm Elizabeth Schuyler from the year 1780."

"I'm Margarita Schuyler from the year 1780."

"I'm Philip Hamilton from the year 1800."

"I'm Thomas Jefferson from the year 1804."

"I'm James Madison from the year 1804."

"Huh," Es noted as she looked at Al and Jay. "Guess we're with a bunch of old people." Al and Jay snorted whilst the others seemed shocked. They had all put two and two together, easily figuring out that this was their Esperanza from her original time, though they never realised how... truthful and blunt she was. "What?"

"You can't say that Es!" Al laughed, having fallen down, unable to keep himself upright.

"Why not?" she asked. "You told me too always be truthful!"

"Not... Not like that, love," he chuckled, shaking his head as he got back up. "Truthful is one thing, kiddo, bluntness? Not a lot of people are gonna like it."

"Well fuck them then." At this point, Jay was unable to breath as he was sent into another fit of laughter. "Jay, shut up. You're annoying." Al started cackling, holding his stomach. "You too Al." They both immediately shut up, looking like kicked puppies.

"Well, that was a show," a voice Esperanza recognized chuckled. Her face lit up, eyes wide as she ran towards the voice and enveloped her in a hug. "Hello little one, how are you?"

"I'm good!" she exclaimed, a bright smile on her face. "Why are we here?"

"I was just about to explain that honey bug," Aspen said as she picked Es up and headed to the group. "Hello, you lot," she greeted as she handed Es to George who nodded to her, holding Es close to him. "You are here to react to a couple's life. However, in the second act it's focus shifts onto the female counterpart of the couple whilst the first act focuses on the male counterpart of the couple." The group nodded before Aspen gestured to the seats. "Please, do take your seats."

"Alright," George started as he turned to look at the group around him. "I'll take Hamilton, Laurens, Lafayette, Mulligan, and Burr with me, as well as Esperanza here. Madison, Jefferson, would you two be comfortable with Philip, James and Alexander?" Jefferson and Madison nodded, taking the two children's hands before going to their seats whilst the ladies picked their seats. George led the group he had called out to the other end of the couches, sitting down with Es on his lap and Lafayette on his left with Hamilton on his right. Laurens sat beside Hamilton whilst Mulligan sat beside Lafayette. Aspen sat on the floor in front of Washington, sticking close to Esperanza out of instinct. As they all got comfortable, the first few opening notes of the play began.
