Hamilton groaned slightly, sitting up and rubbing his eyes. Lafayette had woken up long before him, as they had taken a break to wait for those two to wake up. Washington couldn't help but chuckle when Hamilton's tired, half-lidded, violet-blue eyes looked up at him in confusion before snuggling back into his side and resting his head on the man's chest.

"Alexander," Washington spoke softly, "You need to wake up. You can sleep later, right now you need to be awake." Hamilton groaned, yawning as he was forced to sit up by the man he considered a father but would never admit that out loud. "C'mon, get up." Soon enough, Hamilton was awake although clearly still tired.

"We all ready?" Aspen asked as she glanced at them. They all nodded. Martha silently awed immediately when she noticed Hamilton subconsciously lean into Washington as he wrapped an arm around him subconsciously. "Alright, then we will continue."

I was younger than you are now
When I was given my first command
I led my men straight into a massacre
I witnessed their deaths firsthand

"Is this why you won't give me command?" Hamilton asked quietly. "So I won't suffer like you did?"

Washington nodded, ruffling the man's hair. "Among others," he replied. Nodding, the boy turned his attention back onto the screen.

I made every mistake and felt the shame rise in me
And even now I lie awake, knowing history has its eyes on me (Whoa, whoa)
History has its eyes on me (Whoa, whoa, yeah)

Let me tell you what I wish I'd known
When I as young and dreamed of glory
You have no control who lives, who dies, who tells your story
I know that we can win
I know that greatness lies in you

It does, Philip grinned.

But remember from here on in, history has its eyes on you (Whoa, whoa)
History has its eyes on you

There was a sombre mood as the song ended, slowly moving onto the next one. As the next song started, Washington refused to let go of his sons: Lafayette and Alexander.
