ch.1: home sweet home

Savannah just got off of the bus and got a uber home they pull up to her house

'Thank you' Savannah says

'No thank you for your service' the uber driver says, Savannah smiles

'Have a good day' Savannah says

'You too' the uber driver says

Savannah gets out and walks up the long road to her house as she does she had flashbacks of Abby smiling she smiles because she knows that Abby is in a better place now Savannah walks up the stairs and opens the door quietly not to wake Amanda up she shuts it quietly behind her and she looks around a bunch of memories comes flowing in from her and Abby, from cuddling on the couch, to baking together in the kitchen, to making love in their bedroom, she puts her bag down

'Home sweet home' Savannah says to herself, She walks in the kitchen and makes coffee then Amanda walks in

'I thought I heard voices, I thought that i was going crazy' Amanda says, Savannah chuckles and pours some coffee

'I'm sorry, you want some coffee?' Savannah asks

'No thank you' Amanda says, she sits down, Savannah grabs her coffee cup and sits down beside her

'I could have pick you up at the airport' Amanda says

'Nah I didn't want to wake you up because you will bite people's head off if they do' Savannah says, she chuckles

'Ha ha, not anymore, that was in high school' Amanda says

'Oh really because one time here Abby made breakfast and you was visiting here you was still sleeping she woke you she litteraly jump on you and you was in a bad mood all day' Savannah says, Amanda chuckles

'Oh yeah' Amanda says, they sit in silence

'Listen Amanda thank you for stopping your life to keep this up to date' Savannah says, Amanda smiles

'No problem I know how you and Abby a lot time into this place, besides Abby is haunting the place' Amanda says

'Oh yeah, how so?' Savannah says, As soon as Savannah says that the faucet turns on

'Great even when she's dead she still here to haunt me' Savannah says, they laugh and Abby's ghost pulls Savannah's ponytail

'Ow!' Savannah screams

'What's wrong?' Amanda asks, she gets up and turns off the faucet and sits back down

'She pulled my ponytail!' Savannah says, Amanda chuckles

'Oh yeah she likes to do that, she did that to me until I put it down' Amanda says

'I might do the same thing, wait until i die and see how she likes it' Savannah says

'Oh you was scared of her when she was alive and you're still scared of her when she pass away' Amanda says

'Ok well I'm not scared of you' Savannah says

'You wanna go now!' Amanda says, she stands up

'Whoa, whoa, ok, ok, take it easy' Savannah says, Amanda sits back down

'Well at least you have somebody to talk to ish kinda of' Savannah says

'Yeah, it's nice, how you doing mentally?' Amanda asks

'With Abby?' Savannah asks

'Not just her but leaving the military for good?' Amanda asks

'Oh, well i was realised due to PTSD about losing Abby and I would a breakdown almost every morning, afternoon and night, they said I need to get some therapy but when I'm here on the ranch I'm at peace this is my therapy, Hell I almost had a breakdown in the uber coming here, so maybe it wouldn't hurt to get some therapy because I don't want to end up drinking myself to death you know, some people drinks after they come back from the army or military or whatever you're doing over there because of them suffering from really bad PTSD' Savannah says

'Oh yeah I heard stories about soldiers suffering from really bad PTSD and start drinking or have angry problems when they have a episode' Amanda says

'Yeah so I don't want to end up like that, like with stage one cancer you wanna catch it in time before it worse' Savannah says

'Like what happened to Abby?' Amanda asks

'Yeah, that surprised everybody because she was healthy all her life never smoke and she gets stage three lung cancer' Savannah says

'Well since she's not to hurt me and I don't care if she does now but she did smoke a lot when you were away because she missed you so much, we got her to stop for awhile but Ava caught her smoking once and she fainted in her arms and will you know The rest of it' Amanda says

'Yeah, I do, hey don't tell Ava and Claire that I'm coming up because I want to surprise them and Sabrina' Savannah says, Amanda chuckles

'That sounds good' Amanda says

'I know and I shouldn't have gotten them something but I did, you know me I'm too nice and sweet some times especially when I haven't seen my sister in like a year and you too but yours is coming in the mail so keep an out for that' Savannah says, Amanda smiles

'Thank Sava, I mean Savannah, sorry that was Abby thing' Amanda says

'Actually you can call me Sava it's only fair because pretty much everybody calls me that but in two different ways you mean it in a friendship way and Abby meant in romantic way' Savannah says

'Hmmmm, I never thought about that before' Amanda says

'And don't worry about going out to find a place in town, you can stay here as long as you want to and don't have to pay me rent, just help me around here like you're already doing besides Abby will kill me if I kicked you out' Savannah says

'That's true, thank you and yes i will help you out around too don't worry I'm not going to stop helping around here because I like working around here it keeps my mind off of things especially work' Amanda says

'You're welcome, oh yeah, how's nursing treating you these days last thing I knew about was you trying to get the day time shift' Savannah says, Amanda smiles

'Yeah well i can't believe that I'm saying this but you were right I should have just ask to go on a different shift, I did and I got it working from 6am to 2pm which is eight hours a day but I don't mind it' Amanda says

'Nice, I'm happy to hear that' Savannah says, she looks at her watch

'Wow it's been almost two hours since we sat down and talk, it's almost 4:30am' Savannah says

'Oh well i better ready for work' Amanda says, she gets up

'I'll fix you breakfast it's the least that i could do for all you did for me, and I'm not taking no for an answer' Savannah says, she gets up and Amanda chuckles

'Ok fair enough, it's glad to have you home for good this time' Amanda says, Savannah smiles

'Yeah me too' Savannah says

Amanda hugs her and Savannah hugs her back Then Amanda let's go and heads upstairs to get ready and Savannah fixes breakfast for Amanda as she gets ready
