ch. 11: moving too fast

A couple of months later Amanda is three months pregnant her and Ava are having lunch together at the hospital outside

'Can I ask you something?' Amanda asks

'Of course, what's up?' Ava asks

'Do you feel like me and Sava are moving too fast?' Amanda asks

'Why because you guys only have been dating for two months and now you're three months pregnant, no you guys are not moving that fast at all' Ava says, Amanda chuckles

'Ava I'm serious' Amanda says

'Honestly yes, but I don't think that you guys meant yo go this fast, none of this was plan out, you guys never planned this, things just happened, the difference between you guys and me and Claire is that, you guys didn't feel the sexual tension until you guys had sex for first time even though you guys used protection some times it doesn't work, with me and Claire we knew that our sexual tension was there but like you guys we was waiting for the right time to do it' Ava says

'Yeah, I get what you're saying' Amanda says

'Thank God one of us does' Ava says, Amanda chuckles

'Does this mean we have to get married?' Amanda asks

'No, you guys don't have to because there's some couples out that have kids but they're not married yet, you guys get married when you guys want to don't worry about what other people say' Ava says

'The only thing I'm worried about is that kids will call our kid the B word and not bitch either but because we're not married' Amanda says

'Oh please like i just said there's some couples out there that have a child but they're not married yet, you guys will be married one day just not and that's ok because you guys don't have to rush into things too fast even though having a baby after dating for a couple of months may seem fast but I believe that you guys will make it work' Ava says, Amanda smiles

'Thanks Ava, now I have to talk to Sava about this' Amanda says, Ava smiles

'I know Sava she'll understand' Ava says

'I hope so' Amanda says

she puts her head down with a sad look on her face and Ava puts her hand on Amanda's hand and smiles, Savannah watches them from a distance

Their lunch hour is up and Amanda goes back inside Savannah walks up to Ava

'So why does she look sad for?' Savannah asks, Ava looks at her

'That's something that she needs to tell you' Ava says, she gets up and throws her trash away

'Is it because of the baby?, just say yes or no?' Savannah asks, Ava turns around

'Yeah and other things too' Ava says

'That bad huh' Savannah says, Ava walks up to her

'She doesn't have any doubts about the baby just about if you guys are moving too fast' Ava says

'Right, I figure that when she told me that she was pregnant she look like she did something wrong like Sabrina does you know?' Savannah asks

'Yeah I do but I told her that couples like you guys have kids but they're not married yet and that's up to you guys, if you guys want to or not' Ava says

'I agree with that, I'll talk to her about it tonight' Savannah says

'She said the same too, I know that you won't walk away from her and the baby, I think you have to make her believe that' Ava says

'Yeah, I guess i have to, I'll see you later' Savannah says, she kisses her on the cheek

'Bye' Ava says, Savannah leaves

Later that night Amanda gets home she walks in the kitchen

'Hey' Amanda says, in tired voice

'Hey, how was your day?' Savannah asks

'Tiring I'm going to take a nap, after that i have to talk to you about something' Amanda says, she kisses her

'I know what some of it is Ava told me what most of it is' Savannah says, Amanda sits down beside her

'What did she say?' Amanda asks, Savannah tells her and Amanda tells her what they talk about

'If you think we're moving too fast and that is going to make me leave then you got that all wrong, like Ava said these things happens but we don't have to get married right away we can wait whenever we're ready to, as long as we're together then that's all that matters at least we're not together and sharing custody that has to count for something right' Savannah says, Amanda smiles, She gets up and sits down on Savannah's lap

'I just hope I'm a good mother to this child' Amanda says

'You will be, we will be' Savannah says, she kisses her on the head

Amanda falls asleep on Savannah's lap, Savannah picks her up and carries her upstairs she lays Amanda down on the bed

'Stay with me please' Amanda says, still has her eyes closed

Savannah smiles and lays down beside her, she falls asleep too

Claire is in the living room watching Sabrina and Reagan playing with Abby too, then Ava walks in and they look at her

'Hey babe, what's wrong?' Claire asks

'Um I came to the conclusion that we don't need to have another kid' Ava says, she leaves and walks in the kitchen

'Can you watch them for me?' Claire asks Abby

'Yeah of course' Abby says, Claire gets up and walks in the kitchen

Ava is sitting at the table then Claire walks up to her

'What do you mean you don't want to have another kid?' Claire asks, she sits down in front of her

'Now I understand what people mean raising a kid is hard and I don't think we can raise two kids when they are this young' Ava says

'I know it's hard to raise kids but I think that we can do it yes it's going to be hard but it's going to take a lot from the both of like it is with Sabrina, yes she has Reagan to play with, soon she'll have Savannah's and Amanda's baby to play with soon, Abby and Jessica are trying to have another baby so Sabrina will have other babies to play with but if she has a sister then she won't be lonely when Reagan and them are not around to play with herm besides I'm carrying this baby this time' Claire says, Ava smiles

'I guess I'm reaching my breaking point on everything' Ava says, Claire smiles

'Everybody is when they have kids some times, so do you change your mind again' Claire says

'Yeah, I do, what change my mind is when you said when Sabrina has a sister then she has somebody to play with if Reagan and them are not around, I didn't have that but you did you have Sava to grow up and I didn't have anybody to grow up with' Ava says, she wipes her tears away

'Aw baby' Claire whispers, she gets up and kisses her

'Lets go save Abby from Sabrina' Ava says, Claire chuckles

'Yeah, we should' Claire says

they get up and goes into the living and they watch the kids with Abby, until Abby and Reagan has to leave to go home
