ch. 10: new friend ❤

A couple of weeks later Ava had to take Sabrina to get another set of shots but Sabrina meant a new friend name Reagan and they hit it off and Ava record some of it, Ava and Sabrina gets back from the hospital Claire and them hears a crying Sabrina they walk in the kitchen

'Aw what's wrong baby?' Claire asks, she walks up to her and takes Sabrina

'She misses her new friend' Ava says, everybody looks at her confused

'What new friend?' Savannah asks

'Yeah' Claire says

'When we were waiting in the waiting room to be called back there was these other two moms one name might trigger Savannah, their names are Abby and Jessica, they have a daughter name Reagan and Sabrina took an interest in Reagan and I took a video of them playing' Ava says

she shows them the video they all watch, so does Sabrina and starts reaching out for Reagan

'Yeah is that your new friend?' Claire asks Sabrina

'Aw they are so cute together!' Amanda says

'I know, me and Abby switched numbers and I told we are a same sex couple with a kid she was so happy to hear that because you rarely get that now days' Ava says

'Right, and it sucks that isn't a lot more same sex couples with kids it doesn't just have to be two girls it can be also two guys too' Claire says

'Agree' Ava says

'Jessica?, why does that name sound familiar' Savannah says

'Was you guys in the military together?' Amanda asks

'Probably, the other girl did she has black hair and kinda of on the heavy side, wears all black ish with some color?' Savannah asks Ava

'Yeah she did and she had her eyebrow pierced too the left one, she looked kinda of scary to be honest' Ava says

'Yup that's Jessica i know and yes we did served together in the military, don't worry she may look scary but she's actually a teddy bear, don't tell her i said that because she would kill me if she finds out that i told you guys this' Savannah says, they laugh

'Abby wants to know if we're busy on Saturday?' Ava asks Claire

'Not that i know of, why what's up?' Claire asks, Savannah takes Sabrina from Claire

'Hi honey' Savannah says to Sabrina

'She wants to have a play date with Sabrina and Reagan on Saturday, you think we can do that, she said that we can pick any place that we're comfortable with' Ava says

'Yeah we can do' Claire says

'Alright I'll go text her' Ava says

'I'll put Sabrina down for her nap' Claire says

'Ok' Ava says, she leaves, Savannah hands Claire Sabrina and Claire takes her upstairs

'Is that name going to trigger you?' Amanda asks Savannah, Savannah looks at her

'No not really because there's going to be other girls name Abby there's nothing that i can do about it, it does bring back memories of her when she was healthy but other then that nothing else' Savannah says, Amanda smiles

'If they are going to be busy on Saturday, do you think that we can go on a date?' Amanda asks, Savannah smiles

'Yeah we can do that' Savannah says, Amanda smiles and Savannah kisses her

It's Saturday Ava and Claire deicde to go to the park where the kids can play and have fresh air, the parents are sitting at the picnic table and the kids are sitting down on the ground on a blanket beside them

'Sabrina couldn't wait all week to see Reagan again' Ava says

'I know Reagan was the same way, I kept showing her the video of them thatyou took and every time she sees Sabrina her face lights up' Abby says

'We do the same thing but we kinda of tease her when we would show the video every time we said Reagan's name she wouldn't do anything no reaction, but we when say 'is this your girlfriend' She would smile, but girlfriend can mean two things a actual girlfriend or girlfriend as a close best friend, we're going to go with that one because we don't want to label them especially at six and seven months old, and make you guys mad too' Claire says

'And Plus this is the only baby that Sabrina has meant and be connected to' Ava says

'Right, I think we would go with the same thing about the girlfriend thing' Abby says

she looks at Sabrina and Reagan laughing together so does everybody else

'Yeah but they would make a cute couple' Jessica says

'Right!' Ava says, they laugh

'Are we horrible parents for thinking about our kids dating this young' Abby says, they laugh

'Nah, we just know what's going to happen in the future like your parents did with us' Jessica says

'I wish Amanda and Savannah would have a kid already but they just started dating like six months ago, I don't want them to rush them into anything just yet' Ava says

'I know me and Sava would always talk about how we want our kids to grow up together but things happen things change' Claire says

'Well you guys will get your wish' Amanda says, they walk up to them

'What do you mean?' Ava asks

'Well remember a couple of weeks ago I was sick to my stomach actually it was morning sickness which means I'm six weeks pregnant' Amanda says, everybody congratulates them

'You guys have sex one time and you get pregnant, go figure' Ava says, they laugh

'Well I don't have to ask you how you're doing after the military' Jessica says

'Long time no see Jessica, how's life treating after the military?' Savannah asks

'Well that's one example of how life is treating me after the military' Jessica says, she points to Reagan

'Ah I finally meet Reagan' Savannah says

Reagan is staring at Savannah then Sabrina throws a toy block at Reagan it hits her in the face then she picks up the block and throws it back at Sabrina and it hits her in the face Sabrina starts giggling so does Reagan

'Oh no they are going to have that kind of friendship' Ava says, they laugh

Abby picks up Reagan and hands her to Savannah Reagan immediately puts her head down on Savannah's chest and snuggles up into her

'Why does every baby do this?' Savannah asks, they laugh

'You just might be the baby whisper there babe' Amanda says

'Even in the military babies would do the same thing' Jessica says

'I guess i am the baby whisper' Savannah says

Then Sabrina starts crying and it Reagan immediately wakes up she looks at Sabrina Reagan tries to get down but can't

'Ok, ok, calm down' Savannah says, she sits Reagan down in front of Sabrina they start throwing blocks at each other

'Here Amanda sit down' Claire says, she gets up and Amanda sits down beside Ava, they all start to know each other
