I dressed up light since it was the summer and Jake was already waiting for me patiently at the doorway. His eyes sparkled as I went and unlocked the front door. I just chuckled at that, opening the door. He went running out.

"Hey! Don't run too far!"

It's a relief that I brought myself a house rather than an apartment because that meant I had another gate. As human as Jake is, he still has his dog personalities. If he was too far from me, he might go back to his dog form and I don't want him to be lost. I quickly locked the door and jogged over.

"Don't run off, okay?", I reminded him firmly as Jake nodded, bouncing on the spot, eagerly waiting for me to unlock the gate.

I chuckled and shook my head, unlocking the gate and opening it and he went out, without running this time.

"Come on.", I grabbed his hand and intertwined our fingers, acting as a leash so he doesn't run off.

He looked down at our fingers and his face unexpectedly turned a soft pink. I furrowed my brows at that.

"Are you blushing? Dogs can blush?", Jake glared at me.

"Of course we c-can!", he stuttered cutely.

I squealed on the inside and ruffled his fluffy black hair.
Jake just pouted and I swear I could see his dog ears flop down. I held up our intertwined hands.

"This will act as a leash. You want to go somewhere, you'll have to pull me with you, understand?", Jake nodded, saluting me with his other hand.

"Good boy. Now let's go."

We walked all the way to the park holding hands and undoubtedly, it attracted attention.

"Sunghoon-hyung?", Sunoo, my next door neighbour called me and I turned to him.

He was dressed in all black like he was going somewhere secret but I knew he was just going to dance practice.

"Morning Sunny. Dance Practice on the weekend?"

"Yeah. Unfortunately and luckily.", He joked, chuckling.

"Hello, Sunoo!", Jake waved at him with so much enthusiasm that it caught Sunoo off guard. I stopped him as he looked at me with confused eyes.

"He doesn't know your human form.", I whispered as he understood and nodded.

"Do I know you?", Sunoo asked Jake with narrowed eyes.

I chuckled awkwardly and showed him our hands as his eyes bulged out.

"O-Oh! You're his boyfriend! But you didn't tell me you had one already.", He whined at the last part as I chuckled.

"Because you always teased me for it. Anyways, we are going to the park right now so see you later, Sunny!", I waved at him as he waved back.

"The neighbours don't know your human form so please refrain from just calling out to them like that,okay?", I reminded him.

"Sorry, Sunghoon..This is new to me so-", I pinched his cheek softly, making him look at me.

"It's a new experience for me too, dummy. I didn't have the opportunity to walk in the park, holding hands with a handsome, cute Australian man, acting like we're on a date.", Jake tilted his head.

"That was oddly specific. Were you talking about us? We're on a date?", I flushed and turned my face away from him.

"I-"

"Oh my god! Look, it's a swing!", Jake beamed and pulled me so hard I almost fell over but managed to get my footing before letting a excited puppy pull me to the playground where the swing was.

I chuckled as Jake sat on the swing, still holding my hand.

"Swing me!"

"I have to let go first, Jake.", I chuckled at his adorable face.

I began to let go before Jake held my hand tighter.

"Jake?"

"You said I'll have to pull you so just swing me like this."

I stared at him for a second wondering just how much more cuter can this puppy get. I smiled and nodded.

"Alright then you baby. Three, two , one..."

I swung him up and Jake beamed, giggling as he went up and down. At some point, I sat on the swing beside him and swung with him, our hands still locked. I never thought I would be doing this but it's the best thing I've ever done in my whole life.

I think...I might like my dog. Can you even call him a dog anymore?
