Sunghoon's POV

Whew. I should've known transforming would be painful. I didn't realise it was this painful.

You'll get used to it.

Shut up Hoonie. I'm sure you just want me to transform every now and then, right?

Oops. You caught me.

Anyways, I named my wolf Hoonie. Well, Jake suggested it. What do you think, Hoonie?

I love it. Anything our mate suggests is good.

See? He loves it and is undeniably obsessed with Jake. Just like I am, slowly. Now that I know I'm the same species as Jake, I could finally let out those weird feelings I had towards Jake when he first turned. Jake did the same.

I was patrolling around the woods near the mansion when I heard someone.

"Help! Someone help!"

My ears perked up from hearing someone scream for help. The voice seemed far away but because of my hearing, they were more louder.

I should've informed someone or Jake that someone needed help but I decided to investigate on my own.

This is a bad idea.

I know but we need to help them. I can't afford to waste time.

My wolf didn't say anything after that. I tried running as fast as I can but it was clear it's going to take me too long.

Need some help?

"I thought you'd never ask.", I said out loud with a chuckle.

Yeah yeah whatever.

I transformed into my wolf form and this time it was in a flash and painless. Maybe because it's only been hours since I first transformed. I took off, my hind legs building up the speed as I moved faster towards the voice.

I could immediately smell blood, making my nose twitch. Werewolf blood. I slowed down and transformed back.

We should thread carefully.

I know Hoonie. I'm not clueless.

I walked carefully, not to make a lot of noise from the grass and leaves below me. Bit by bit, I could see a person laying on the ground, bloodied. My eyes widen as I walked towards them in a hurry. As I got closer, I could see it was a boy. A young boy. Probably around 16?

I kneeled down and put two fingers against his neck, sighing in relief when I picked up a pulse.

An Omega. Not from our pack.

I furrowed my brows at that. Not from our pack?

Your call.

I just blanked out, thinking of whether to bring him to our pack. What if it was a trap?

"W-Who.."

I snapped my head to the young boy and he looked at me with slightly wide alarmed eyes.

"Relax. You're safe."

The boy looked relieved at that as I tried to sit up. I scrambled to help the boy up.

"Careful. You look terrible."

He laughed softly.

"Geez. Thanks.", I smiled at that. This kid is funny.

"What's your name, kid?"

"Riki. Riki Nishimura."

"Japanese?", He nodded.

"I'm Sunghoon."

"Korean?", I rolled my eyes at the kid's teasing question.

He laughed softly before hissing when he felt pain near his stomach.

I took his hand away from his stomach.

"May I?"

His cheeks flushed slightly but nonetheless nodded.

I slid his shirt up slightly and winced as I saw claw marks on the left side of his stomach. Luckily, they weren't too deep so he'd probably heal in hours.

"Is it going to scar?"

"Probably. Why? Does it bother you?", he flinched slightly which seemed weird to me but he just smiled and shook his head.

"I think it's cool."

"Scars?"

"Yeah. Scars are cool.", I smiled and nodded, agreeing.

"Alright, we gotta move. Whoever attacked you probably tracked the blood trails you left."

"Can you stand and walk?", He nodded and tried standing up before flopping down.

"Uhh might need some help.", I chuckled and shook my head before helping him up.

"Thank you..Sunghoon.", he thanked me with soft voice.

I smiled and nodded, draping his arm around my shoulder.

I hope Jake doesn't kill me when he sees another werewolf near me. I just hope this isn't a trap.
