Sunghoon's POV
I skipped my way to Jake's bedroom, and mine too I guess, with a smile on my face. Seeing Jake always makes me smile.
"Baby, ready to finish where we left off-", I froze as I saw Jake on the ground in a fetal position.
I rushed to him and went on my knees.
"Jake, you okay? What's wrong baby?"
He groaned and whined as he kept touching his shirt, trying to pull it off.
"G-Get a-away..Your p-pheromones..", He growled as I furrowed my brow at that.
"My pheromones? What about it?"
Jake looked up into my eyes and I almost got the scare of a lifetime when his eyes were half red.
"P-Please Hoon, get a-away and lock the d-door-"
"No! I want to know what's happening to my mate! Tell me how I can help. Is it your shifting time? Or-"
Jake growled and suddenly pounced on me, sending us both to the ground as he straddled me. I looked at my mate who was acting different and I couldn't lie that it kinda turned me on.
"Baby. You could've asked before-"
"I-I'm i-in h-heat, Hoon! I can't control myself any longer if you don't get out now."
Heat? It's his time of the year? I thought wolves-or half wolves only get in heat during full moons! It's midnight but there's no full
moons. I should be getting out but I think I need to endure it with my mate. I need to let him use this chance to mark me.
"I'm not going anywhere. I'll handle it, Jake. You can let loose and don't hold back.", Jake growled as his eyes were closer to full blood red pupils.
"Mate.", A deeper, growling voice came out from my mate as he drove into my neck.
I gasped sharply as I felt two sharp points puncturing the skin on my collarbone. I gripped his toned arms tightly, trying to hold out on the pain. But that pain soon into pleasure as I felt my eyes rolling back at the heavenly feeling. He marked me. And it felt so good. He licked the mark as it quickly healed up.
"Baby? Are you okay?", I slowly opened my eyes to see worried eyes, once red, now brown.
Jake was holding my head up with his hand and his other hand caressing my mark. I smiled at him drowsily, tired from the short but draining experience.
"That was something.", I said with a drunk chuckle as Jake shook his head at me while sighing in relief.
"I thought I hurt you. I can't bear to hurt my love."
My love. Hearing that made my heart do flips. I rested my palm on his cheeks as he looked at me with loving eyes.
"I love you, Jake.", He smiled brightly at that.
"I love you too.", He dived right back into my neck and blew strawberries which tickled, making me get into a fit of giggles trying to stop him.
"H-Hey! S-stop that! It's t-tickles!"
"I finally know my mate for real and it's you!", I furrowed my brows at that.
"Wait, Wait. What do you mean by that?", I pushed him away just enough to see his face.
"I turned 18 on midnight..."
"You're 18?" I asked him, shocked and frankly did not see that coming. He never really did tell me how old he was.
"I'm sorry baby, I just didn't want you to be repulsed by the fact you're basically dating a teenager-"
"Baby, that's not what I was concerned about. What I'm concerned about is you didn't know I was really your mate this whole time? Only until you turned 18?"
"Yeah..but I felt the bond! The moon goddess definitely made us to be together! I just felt it."
Well, I am glad I am his mate for real and that he marked me but it was still a shock to me. Werewolves only know their mates when they turn 18?
"Did it hurt?", Jake asked me with a worried look. I chuckled and shook my head.
"It'll hurt at first but you'll feel good afterwards."
"Then, would you mark me too, my love?", I smiled and moved my mouth close to his neck and sank my canines into his skin as he hissed and gripped my arm tightly.
Hang in there baby, it'll be quick.
After awhile I could feel Jake relaxing against my body as I wrapped my arms around him and he fell limp. I retracted my canines and licked the mark, healing it.
"That hurt like a bitch.", Jake breathed out as I chuckled.
"Hey, you got through it. We're mated now.", Jake smiled and laid his head on my chest.
"I love you."
I smiled and caressed his fluffy black hair that was slowly showing patches of white. His dog finally matured. Based on his hair, he could be a Husky.
"I love you too, Jake."
Jake looked up and licked my chin making a giggle come out of my mouth. It was so Jake to lick me.
"I'm so glad I was the one who found you in the alley."
"My alley puppy."

a/n : the alley puppy is finally finished ! i rly enjoyed writing this one and i hope y'all enjoyed reading it too :) i can't thank yall readers enough for reading, voting or even commenting, it helps and means to me a lot. this isn't the end of this story tho :) there will be an epilogue coming soon and it'll be them in the future.
in terms of a sequel, i'm not sure yet. this story did better than my previous book but idk if i actually want to continue it. if there's enough votes in favor of a sequel, i'll definitely make it !
