"Here's your coffee, good sir.", I looked up from my phone to see a cup of coffee being set on the table.

Heeseung sat across me and reached out to ruffle my hair. I chuckled and slapped his hand away gently.

"You keep ruffling my hair today. Are you that happy?", He grinned sheepishly and nodded.

I scoffed and shook my head, bringing the cup of coffee near my lips, carefully sipping on the bitter drink. The caffeine hit me straight away and I felt more alive.

What am I doing? I promised Jake it'll be a short time but here I am on a impromptu date with my handsome therapist.
I want to go home but I kinda didn't want to. I haven't seen Heeseung in a year.

"Work still going well?", Heeseung asked with a soft smile as he sipped on his own cup of coffee.

"Hmm. I got a promotion two months ago.", his eyes went wide as his smile got bigger.

"Really? That's great!", he beamed as I chuckled at his reaction.

"Thanks, hyung. How about you? Have you gone crazy yet?", he bursted out into fits of laughter at my joke which made me smile.

"You wouldn't believe it. I've had my share of unique patients after you to say the least."

"You don't have a personal one?", he shook his head.

"I do actually. He's a dancer and so so young. I felt the need to help such a young boy to get better."

That's just how Heeseung was. Being a therapist is a perfect job for him since he couldn't deny anyone looking for help. Maybe that's what attracted me to him.

"You're a nice person, hyung. Maybe that's why I like you.", I blurted out my real feelings.

His eyes went wide and his mouth gaped open slightly.

"You like me?", I nodded.

To my surprise, he smiled and reached over to hold my hand.

"I like you too, Hoon."

It's safe to say I was in high spirits as I drove back home from the coffee date. I parked my car in the garage and punched in my door code as the locked beeped. As soon as I opened, an excited looking Jake jumped on me, bringing both of us down.

I giggled as he kept kissing all around my face, occasionally rubbing his nose with mine. At that point, I forgot all about my date with Heeseung.

"You're finally home!", Jake said with a big toothy smile.

I smiled and ruffled his black hair.

"I'm sorry I'm late, baby.", the pet name slipped through my lips for the second time today.

We just laid there as Jake straddled me, his hands firmly on my chest. Jake frowned which made me anxious.

"Jake? What's wrong?", He leaned in and sniffed my shirt.

"You smell like someone else. Who touched you?", he growled making me gulp nervously.

He smelt Heeseung! He is a dog after all so I shouldn't be surprised. I chuckled nervously as Jake kept growling. I knew it wasn't towards me but towards whoever the smell belonged to. I rested my palms on his cheeks making him focus on me as he stopped growling.

"I just met a good friend of mine, they didn't do anything bad to me, don't worry.", I lied.

"Really?"

"Yes, really."

Jake suddenly broke out into a smile and nodded.

"I'm sleepy, let's go sleep."
