Jay's POV

"Your brother called? Out of the blue?"

Jungwon sounded suspicious of it. I was confused as to why. I thought he would be happy since he knows how much my brother meant to me. I frowned and crossed my arms. Jungwon sighed and rested his hand on my tensed arm.

"Are you sure it's really him?", I scoffed at that.

"Why would you ask that? Of course I'm sure. I-You're supposed to be happy for me, Won.", he sighed and rested his head on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry. It's just we can't afford to trust people easily especially now that we've mated. I can't afford to lose you if anything happens."

I smiled at that. He's always been worried about me and it warmed my heart. Even before we dated, he always asked me where I was going, if I had ate and stuff only a mate would ask.

"I'll be safe, Jungwon. You know I'm a strong Alpha."

"Oh, I know you are. It's just I can't help but want to be by your side at all times."

I ruffled his hair lovingly as Jungwon looked up at me with a shy smile.

"You can follow me when I visit where my brother has been staying."

"You sure? I don't want to intrude on the family reunion.", I flicked his forehead gently as he squeaked.

"You're my mate. You're already family."

Jungwon giggled and leaned up to kiss me as I kept him still before he could pull away. He whined against my lips making my wolf growl at the pretty sound. Jungwon pulled away from me, taking deep breaths.

"You're so hungry for my lips nowadays.", he said with a sloppy smirk.

"Your lips are tasty. Can you blame me?"

"I guess not.", he smiled before leaning in to continue our make out session.

We informed his father that we were off to visit my brother and he just smiled and nodded, showing that he trusts me a lot with his son. I felt burdened by it. The amount of trust he puts in me is suffocating.

I got into my Ferrari that Yeonjun gifted me out of the blue. It roared to life when I pressed the start button. Jungwon buckled up and I drove out of the pack house which was huge since we're a huge pack.

"Are you nervous?", my mate suddenly asked.

"Nervous? No, why?"

"I don't know, if I were meeting my brother who has been missing for a long time, I don't think I would know how to react."

"It's just normal to act that way, Won. I just feel relieved that he's alive."

"I see.", I chuckled and it made Jungwon look at me.

"Are you laughing at me?", I laughed softly, shaking my head but Jungwon didn't believe me and pouted.

"You are."

"No baby, I'm not. You're just too adorable.", I admitted.

"You are laughing at me!"

"It wasn't even a laugh, baby."

"It is."

"Wonnie, it was like a chuckle.", I said with another chuckle.

"Whatever."

I smiled as Jungwon looked away, focusing on the traffic. He looked at peace that I would never think he had lost his own brother. His older brother was killed in a fight which I found out from his father. Jungwon doesn't know I know about his brother but I'll let him have the chance to tell me himself.
