I woke up inside somebody's arms. Instantly, I recognised the scent of the person I was with. It was Daryl. He was sleeping with me, in my room. I gasped softly when I woke up, I was still extremely exhausted and I wanted to go back to sleep, but I suddenly felt embarrassed. Embarrassed about my bed, the state my room was in. The most popular boy in my school was in the same bed as me, and he didn't even want sex. That seemed weird but I shook it out of my dirty mind and laid back down.
"Hey beautiful.", he spoke into my ear. It took me by surprise and I jumped slightly. The last word sent tingles down my spine and I turned to face him. His eyes were something out of this world. More beautiful than the colour of diamonds, or the ocean or the sky. It was unique just like him. No, how could a popular boy be unique, I thought to myself.
I pretened I didn't hear him and I walked out the room.

Going back to school was one of the things that I didn't want to do. It was boring, and yes I might have found it easy I just didn't want to go back and have people ask me questions.
As I was making my way, slowly, to class, this time I didn't need Felicity because I got on just fine myself now, Patricia was standing there. Her face bitter when she saw me. I kept my glance at the end of the hallway and ignored her.
"Hey, new girl.", she said, standing in front of me.
"What do you want?", I asked, already annoyed.
"Can I not talk to my bestie? I just wanna ask you a quick question.", it was quick, but she flipped her hair and made eye contact with me. I could read her eyes, easily. They were full of anger and I knew she wanted to get revenge, but for what I didn't know.
"What are you and Daryl doing together?", she asked me, anger in her tone.
"Nothing. Don't even know what you mean!", I replied, pretedning to not know she was talking about. She smiled and lodged her tounge in her cheek, pushing it outwards. She was pissed, really pissed and you know what?! I didn't give two fucks. I sighed, annoyed at her presence and pushed passed her, not caring about the glances I was being given.
Science was the class that I had for this period, a subject I was extremely good at. I didn't like to talk about it but I wanted to become a pharmacist, and study medicine when I grew up. It was a job that fascinated me very much. So, with that thought it mind, I took my seat eagerly waiting for class to start. It didn't take long for it to begin, as the other started filling in. My seat was empty because Felicity would've always sat beside me but she wasn't in my science classes, sadly.
My seat stayed empty for the first half of the lesson, my bag sitting comfortably on it. But when the boys walked into class, I guess Daryl saw the opportunity and took it because he walked right to me, ignoring what the teacher was saying. He wanted to keep eye contact with me but I looked away shyly.
"Hey.", he whispered, as he pulled off my bag from the seat. I looked up at him, pissed off. My bag has feeling you dipshit! That's what I wanted to say but I didn't and stayed quiet. Afraid of his reaction. I didn't know if he was going to laugh, ignore me or something. I couldn't risk it so I stayed shut up.
"Whats wrong?", he could tell something was up. And I looked at him. Fuck, he was handsome.
"N-no. Why would there be anythin' wrong.", I spoke quietly.
"Come on!", he groaned, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing.", I began, "It's just that, Patricia saw us together yesterday and now she thinks we're a...thing."
"Do you wanna be?", he asked, but I thought he was joking so I laughed it off.
I went back to listening to whatever the teacher had to say. At the end of the lesson, we were all assigned an essay on the complex human body and he said that we had to do it with a partner, but we were free to choose whoever we wanted. I took my homework and exited the classroom.

Daniel, Jake and Mike and I were all by Jake's car, waiting for Julie to leave the school building. My hand was rested on the top of his roof and the stupid wind blew my hair around making it messy. I ran my hand through my hair, but sadly Patricia and her bitchy minions were watching me and I could hear them moaning across the parking lot. We all laughed and I rolled my eyes at them.
My heat instantly began to beat crazily when I saw Julie leave the building with Felicity helping her. Even though I didn't care about her I made a mental note to remember Julie's bestfriends name. I heard the twins shout at me to go and without a second thought I strided cooly up to her. I ran my hand through my hair because thats what seemed to make girls swoon over me and nodded.
"Hey...Julie?", I called out. She listened to me and stopped what she was doing. Her beautiful face staring back at me, a small, forced smile on her face. I felt bad, was I the reason of her forced smile?
"Hey Daryl.", she said, tiredness showing right through her voice.
"I was wondering... maybe if you want study together?", I asked, not nervous anymore.
"What?", she said, sounding confused and shocked at the same time.
"I want to study with you!", I shrugged and looked away.
"Sure.", she laughed and started walking away. I scrunched my face up and took my hands out of my pocket.
"Wait? Is that a yes or a no?", I yelled after her.
I heard her and her friend giggle together.
"Maybe!", she shouted back.
"What does that mean?", I asked, beginning to become annoyed at her.
"Meet at mine at 7 tonight!", and with that she disappeared around the corner. My heart began beating and I fixed my hair. I turned around and all my friends were chatting away, but Daniel seemed to pay particular attention to me and Julie.
"What did she say?", Mike asked.
"Yes.", I smiled and the twins slapped my back and we all got into the car.
"What time you gonna meet her?", Daniel asked, looking at the rear view mirror at me.
"7.", I replied and switched on my phone and set a reminder for the date...I mean study session.
