I threw the tissue on the floor, I felt pathetic. I was stronger than this and I knew it. What was wrong with me. Me and Daryl weren't even dating, and it would be crazy to think that we would ever. I stopped crying but there were still tears. Laughing at how pathetic I was acting I threw off my blanket and decided that I was going to go to school, slay, and come home happy as ever. And to do that, I just needed to avoid Daryl and his delinquent friends from hell. Before I made it to the bathroom my phone rang. Quickly, I picked it up as soon as I read the name of the person who was calling me. A wide smile grew on my face,
"Hey Cece!", I laughed, wishing I could hug her right now.
"Hey! Wait...you sound like you've been crying what happened?", she asked her voice sounding like she was talking to baby.
"It's nothing, I just hurt myself.", I lied.
"Come on! You're stronger than that.", she encouraged, and we both laughed. I hadn't realised how much I actually missed her and needed her in my life.
"Can you shut up, Gabe?!", Cece exclaimed through the phone. My face lit up at the sound of his name, if he was there then so were my other friends.
"Is Gabe there? Can I speak to him?", I asked, waiting impatiently for her to pass the phone.
"Hey Jay!", he greeted me, I could practically hear him smiling.
"OMG, hi Gabe!", I greeted with the excat same amusement as he had with me.
"How's life?"
"It could be better, if I'm being honest.", I said, thinking of last night.
"Oh."
"Anyway, what about you? What am I missing back at Chicago High?", I asked.
"Weeeellll...Samuel is asking if you're ever gonna come back, and Janice want all the latest tea.", he mimicked Janice. I laughed.
"Sure. But can we continue this later, I have to go.", I said, reluctantly. Time wasn't my friend.
"Yesh, have a great day, Jay.", he said in a British accent and cut the phone.
From me putting down my phone to me leaving the house I had a huge grin on my face, but as soon as I left the house I was reminded of the long, boring day ahead. I groaned and told myself to just suck it up and deal with it.
The walk to school was longer than I anticipated, especially with crutches and all, so I got to school late.
I didn't care thought, this was my time to shine. To show off to everyone that I was the queen who ruled this school, not Patricia and her bitchy friends, not Daryl and his friends from hell. No, not them. Me.

As I got out of the lift, I checked my timetable, I had Maths. Good, this class was one that I didn't have with Daryl.

Me and Felicity were sitting in my room, as we were gulping down spoonfuls of ice cream. We were talking about my friends back at home, and she said that she really hopes she could see them. I promised her that I would once the holidays came. It wouldn't be too long anyway. Only three weeks. Three long weeks.
"I bet you'll like him. You too would be cute.", I teased my friend. I showed her a picture of Gabe and I could see it in her eyes that she liked what she was looking at. She slapped my arm lightly.
"Don't lie!", I laughed.
"Ok! He's cute, I'll give you that, but he's all the way in Chicago! How will I see this guy.", she complained as she drooled over his photo.
We spent the next half hour talking about ship names for each other. For Felicity and Gabe it was Gab-ity . I didn't really have anyone to ship with but Felicity wouldn't allow it and she came up with a ship name for me and Daniel. Jul-dan. Not gonna lie I kinda liked it, it was cute, but I didn't like him nor did I want to be shipped with him. "Yes, you do! And you know it's cute!", she jumped up and down on the bed as I put the ice-cream tub away. I giggle at her comment and pretended to dismiss it but I couldn't stop thinking about it even after Felicity left.
I sighed as I sat on my bed. I switched on my phone and I was greeted by a group photo of all us drinking boba tea in the mall. I remembered that as if it was yesterday, and I smiled at it. I loved the way we screamed at each other like it was nothing inside a busy mall. That was the life, I though you myself.
Quickly I turned the picture off and decided to go out on a walk. I needed as my head needed to be cleared, desperately. It would take me a while to come back home because I was in crutches but I decided that it was just perfect. So I grabbed my jacket, bag and went out the door.

I ran my hand through my hair, it was hot inside this room. Drops of sweat ran down my face. I wiped them off as Bryan came to sit next to me with one of the other guys. He was the group leader, if he wanted you to do something, you did it or you'd die. I didn't feel scared or nervous at all, in fact I was excited.
"Let's just cut to the chase.", he said.
I shrugged my shoulders and put my hand on the table.
"I want you to run this.", he placed a medium sized black bag. It smelt like what I thought it smelt like.
Dope.
"Where do I go?", I asked, stuffing the bag into my bag.
"City Centre. Two of my guys will be waiting for you there. You need to get there by 3 o clock tonight.", he said simply. I nodded and got up.
"And how much will I get?", I challenged.
"If you get there, successful and on time we'll talk money."
"I ain't doin' shit until I find out how much I'm making."
"Five hundred for the first round.", he said, and left without waiting for my answer. 500 was enough, and so I left the house and went back home. Before I left, Bryan called after me,
"Wait!", he said from the door.
"What?", I asked.
"How are you sure you're not gonna get caught, Daniel?", he asked, slightly concerned for me.
I shrugged and turned away. I decided to take the route through the forest because it got me home longer.
About fifteen minutes later, I stumbled upon Julie. There seemed to be something on her mind whilst she walked.
"Julie?", I smiled.
"Oh, Daniel. Hey!", she seemed slightly shocked by me meeting her, especially in here.
"W-what are you doing here?", she asked, eyeing my bag.
"Just thought I would take a walk.", I lied. She didn't have to know my current situation, even if I...
"Oh, OK. Well I'm heading to the town centre, wanna tag along?", she invited. The invitation was tempting and I decided to tag along since there was still a long time until I had to get to the City Centre.

I don't know, I'm bad with ship names. What do you think?
