LEAP OF 21 DAYS
A lot changed in these 21 days, the lockdown was extended to one more month, SidNaaz were again on talking term but there was something amiss, they talked every night like past but their talks weren't like before, now they didn't sleep while talking, it was bcuz while talking they always came a point which reminded them of the lonavla day, they couldn't fill in the gap,they missed eo a lot, and this new found awkwardness between them didn't help at all, but the one thing that didn't change was their love for eo, in fact it only increased n grew stronger, during these days shehnaaz was also in touch with Shukla family, their bond wasn't affected by whatever happened between her n Sid, Sid was also in touch with Baaz , Baaz loved n respected him a lot n vice versa. Sid hadn't really met her family in person after bb so didn't have a talk with them very frequently but whenever he's talking to baaz he always asks about everyone n has even talked a few times with her family n they all loved him too.

NIGHT AFTER THIS LEAP
Sid was waiting for shehnaaz's call, it was past their calling time, he had tried calling her but the line was busy so he waited for her to call back, he waited for half an hour n again called her but it was still showing busy, so he messaged her to call her when free, he was shaking his legs n waiting for her call, he was scrolling through his phone n seeing their pics when he got a call from shehnaaz
Shehnaaz:hello Sidharth
Sid:hey, kabse call kar rha tha...
Sana:ha wo dusre call pe thi na, Tu bata kaise gaya aaj ka din, ab yeh mat bolna jaise kal ka tha... (She giggled)
She sounded really happy, he thought, her giggles made him happy.
Sidharth:kya baat hai badi khush lag rhi hai
Sana:ha wo abhi Kunal se baat kar rhi thi na, uske jokes pe ab tak hasi choot rhi hai (she again giggled)
Sid frowned at this Kunal name
Sid:kunal kaun??
Sana:Arre mere bachpan ka dost hai, Canada mein rehta hai ab

(Kunal is a fictional character, I've Introduced as per story's need)
Sid(jealous) :acha
There was a pause, they didn't know what to speak, it was something which happened always nowadays.
Sid:aur bata kya kar rhi hai
Sana:tujhse baat
Sid:haha shehnaaz Tu kitni funny hai
N they started their random talks, after sometime they bid bye.

After the call, shehnaaz looked at their pic in her phone, murmered an I love u to him n slept while hugging a pillow which had a sidnaaz pic on it, it was fan gifted to her when she was in Mumbai.

While Sidharth couldn't stop thinking, it wasn't unusual of him to think about Sana always n especially after their calls but today he wasn't thinking about shehnaaz, he was thinking about this kunal guy.

Sid(monologue) :who is this kunal?? Why was she giggling so much on his jokes?? Aisa bhi kya joke bol diya jo itni hasi aa rhi thi?? Aur usse itna kyu baat kar rhi thi shehnaaz?? Aur yeh toh humara time hai call ka fir usse kyu baat kar rhi thi?? Aur.....
His thought was broken by some sound, he shook his head n sighed,
Sid:I miss u shehnaaz, I love u
He said n tried to sleep

NEXT NIGHT
today as well shehnaaz's line was showing busy when Sid called, after sometime shehnaaz called him back
Sid:hello
His voice sounded a bit miffed n upset
Sana:kya hua tujhe
Sid:kuch nhi
Sana frowned, she knew something was wrong
Sana:bolna kya hua
Sid:kuch nhi hua hai, aap tension mat lo
This confirmed that he was miffed n it was directed at her bcuz he called her aap, but was confused as to why.
Sana:acha bata aunty kaisi hai aur Riya ki classes kaisi chal rhi hai, aur neetu di....
Sid:yeh sab mujhse kyu puch rhi ho, unse hi pucho na phone karke ya ab unse baat karne ka bhi time nhi hai(he said like a child complaining)
Sana:matlab??
Sid:kuch nhi
Sana:sidharth bakwas mat kar, seedhe seedhe bol
Sid:Tu humare time mein usse kyu baat kar rhi hai
Sana:usse kisse(confused)
Sid:wo tere kunal se (his voice clearly depicted jealousy n possesiveness)
This made Sana giggle n smile wholeheartedly after ages, she bit back her smile n replied,
He was lost in her giggles n came to sense when she started talking.
Sana:Arre wo Canada mein rehta hai toh time difference ki wajah se, waha ab usko free time hai na
Sid:toh wo roz kyu call kar rha hai , kal hogai na baat
Sana:usme kya, wo bhi mera friend hai tere jaise, tujhse bhi toh roz baat karti hun na
(She knew what she was saying n said it knowingly to see his reaction, she sensed his possesiveness n wanted him to accept his feelings which he was denying for whatever reason)
Sid after hearing her fumed , he was also really hurt after listening to her, was talking to him n talking to that kunal same for her, hell no, he knew but at the moment it was hurting him.
Sid:acha mein aur wo dono tere dost hai
His voice was choked n Sana knew he wasnt taking it like a joke so she instantly told
Sana:ha par tu zyada acha dost hai
It didn't make him feel any good
Sid:hmm
Sana:chal yeh sab chod batana aunty aur sab kaise hai
She tried changing his mood n the topic
They started talking n bid bye after sometime
Shehnaaz was really tired today bcuz she had virtual interviews today, so she slept not before hugging the sidnaaz pillow n murmuring an I love u.

Sidharth on the other hand couldn't sleep, the thoughts of that kunal n shehnaaz talking regularly (which btw was 2 days only) on call wasn't setting well with him
Sid(monologue) :is Kunal really as important as me to her, is he taking away my shehnaaz, ik shehnaaz loves me but what about that kunal, does he love shehnaaz, she's so perfect anyone would fall for her, what if he loves her n confesses.... (The thought scared him) but it's good for her, she deserves all the happiness n....
It pained him to think all this, he was feeling helpless, he was teary eyed n slept thinking all this.

NEXT MORNING
He got up,exercised n was having breakfast with his mom
RA:Sidharth teri aanken suji(swollen) kyu hai, neend puri nhi hui??
Sid:nhi maa
RA:tu roya na
Sid didn't deny bcuz he knew his mother wouldn't buy his excuse. He just sighed.
RA:kyu khud ko takleef de rha hai, baat kar na usse, bol de na usse
Sid:maa...
RA:montu teri baat bohot sun li meine, wo bacchi tujhse kitna pyaar karti hai, kyu to usse batata nhi ke tu bhi usse kitna pyaar karta hai, bata de beta isse pehle der hojaye
That isse pehle der hojaye sent shivers through him.

Sid went in deep thoughts, after breakfast he went to his room n was sitting on his bed still in thoughts.
Sidharth:is maa telling right?? Should I tell her, but what if things don't work in our favour, what if.... (A series of what ifs were considered)

ON THE OTHER SIDE IN PUNJAB
Shehnaaz after getting up in the morning, walked in her backyard n after sometime had breakfast with her family
Baaz saw what she was having n giggled like he has been doing ever since she started her new diet, her breakfast was plain boiled eggs, brown bread n fruits with orange juice.
She glared at him n the parathas he was having.
Sana:mein tera muh tod dungi shehbaaz, apne khane pe nazar rakh
Baaz laughed out loud
Baaz:moto kyu gussa ho rhi hai, tune hi yeh dieting sheiting chalu kari hai, ab seh
She glared at him again n continued eating

After sometime she helped her mother in cooking, spent time with her grandparents, read the Gurbaani(religious book), had lunch n then went to her room.

In the afternoon, after lunch, she was chatting with Riya(Sid neice) about random stuff when Riya video called her, then they talked with preeti di n jiju as well on call for a long time.

LATER THAT NIGHT
Shehnaaz called Sid at their regular time , Sid was happy like always seeing her call but was in two minds bcuz of the thoughts he is having since morning, he didn't have much to do whole day, he exercised again the evening, helped his mom a bit, talked with a few friends about the ongoing covid situation n random stuff, but during all this shehnaaz wasn't leaving his mind at all.

Sid picked her call n they talked for quite some time about anything and everything, n bid bye after a long chat.

They slept following their daily I love u routine.
