Chapter 35

Brooklyn. Was it actually her

She's so small.

"In that...?" I asked myself

"Yes you little bitch. You thought we would be sad enough to kill her?" He asked

"Yes" I said under my breath

"Not without you watching" he said

My blood went cold as I saw all the bruises over her.

I was still in shock from her being alive.

"Who did you kill then. " I asked

"None of your business bitch" Matthew said as he slapped me across the face.

(A/N sorry if anyone is confused iv just kept her alive for drama. They killed someone else and pretended it was her. Not like that would happen but oh well. Enjoy!)

"Now..." He said as he walked into another room.

"Put this on and put this on that rat" he said throwing a bag of dirty lingerie at me

"Okay" I said as I grabbed the bag off him.

"Can I go into the bathroom to get changed" I asked with hope.

He started at me thinking of what to say

"Fine but you have 3 minutes" he spat at me and walked away

"Brooklyn" I said with tears in my eyes as I shook her.

"Huh" she said waking up.

"Jade" she screamed at me and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Oh my gosh what have they done to you" I said examining her face full of bruises.

"They were mean to me and hit me like mommy and daddy" she said

"At least your okay now." "Now we need to get out of here follow me" I said as I walked towards the front door

I jiggled the handle and it was locked

"Damn" I cursed

"Jade my leg hurts" Brooklyn said

"You'll be fine we just need to get out of here" I said trying to find a way out

"Cmon" I said as I walked towards the dirty bathroom.

"One minute left" Matthew said walking past the door

I locked the bathroom door and looked around spotting a window.

"Yes" I cheered quietly.

I slowly opened the window

"Ha. Suckers" I thought as I bent down to pick up Brooklyn.

"Okay now you need to jump out this window okay? The floors only there" I said as I showed her the 2 meter jump

"Okay" she said as she sat on the window sill.

"I'll help you get down most the way but you will have to jump the rest okay baby girl?" I said

"Okay" she smiled as I took hold of her hands and slowly lowered her down to the floor

"Okay" I said as she landed safe but still complained about her leg.

I jumped out and pushed the window in a bit

"Now were gonna have to run okay baby girl?" I asked

She shook her head

"Why not" I asked

"My leg" she said as she pointed to her leg which was bleeding badly from a huge cut with would definately need stitches

"Okay babygirl jump on" as I bent down telling her to get on my back.

She jumped on and I ran for my life

I ran for about 15 minutes ready to fall as I saw a woman walking with her phone in her hand

"Excuse me" I said walking up to her

"Yes" she said looking at me

"Can I please use your phone I was just kidnapped and we have no idea where were going" I said with pleading eyes hoping she would say yes.

"Of course" she said passing me her phone.

I rang the police and told them where I was.

"Were on our way" they said and hung up.

"Thank you so much" I said to the girl as I gave her, her phone back

"Your welcome" she smiled at us as she walked away.

We waited about 2 minutes and I saw a police car pulling up

"Finally" I though as we got into the car.

"Okay we will be going back to the police station if that's okay with you" the police officer said

"Uhm I think I should get my sister to the hospital" I said as I showed them her leg

"Oh gosh of course just apply pressure to it" he said as we speeded to the hospital

"Jade" Brooklyn said pulling me out of my daydream

"Yes" I asked her

"Is that a baby belly" she asked poking my belly

"Yes it is your gonna have a sister" I told her

"But your not my mommy it won't be my sister" she said frowning

"Well if your nice to peter he might adopt you.And I will be your mom and he will be your dad" I told her hoping she would say yes

"Really" she asked with giant eyes

"Yes" I told her with tears in my eyes

"Yes please" she said hugging me as tears fell down my face

"Why are you crying" she asked touching my face.

"I'm just so glad to have you back. I missed you so much" I said

"I missed you too mommy" she smiled at me

"Here" the officer said breaking apart our conversation.

I stood out the car and carried Brooklyn to reception.

"My sister has a huge cut on her leg and is loosing blood fast" I said to the receptionist.

She called a group of people to come and take Brooklyn away on a bed as I walked behind with the police following.

We made it into the room and they told me I have to go outside while they stitch it and clean it.

I waited outside impatiently as the officer said something

"Do you mind if we ask you some questions here" he asked

"Uhm... Okay" I said

"So do you know who it was?" He asked

"Yes my uncle called Matthew Printon" I told him as be wrote it down on a note board

"Anyone else" he asked

"Yes but I don't know who. Hg was about 5ft 11, quite slim, had a beard and a scar through his eyebrow"

"Okay and were you both taken today" he asked

"No I was from my job in Disney world but my sister has been missing a few weeks and was pronounced dead weeks ago with the killers being her parents. Today I found out they didn't kill her but someone who looked like her." I told him the story.

"Okay thankyou I will call when I have any information" he said walking away

I never believe in miracles until today. This is one true miracle!
