Chapter 36

"Brooklyn leigh?" The nurse asked coming out of the room

"Yes" I said standing up

"She's very brave" she said moving to the side so I could step in the room.

It made my heart ache knowing shes in pain but I was so happy she was back with me.

"Mommyyyy" she yelled smiling like a chipmunk.

"Your her mom? I thought you were sisters" the nurse said confused

"We are sisters but she has to go to on orphanage if she doesn't have parents so I'm going to ask my boyfriend to adopt her" I smiled

"Your so nice. She's lucky she has you as a sister" she smiled at me and walked away.

I gave Brooke a hug and pinched her cheeks as she crumpled her face up.

"I'm glad I have you back brookbear" I smiled at her

"Brookbear?" She asked looking up at me

"Yes. It's your new nickname" I said nudging her in her shoulder

"Okay. Well your can be... Hmmm... Coco" she smiled at her choice of nickname

"Uhm why coco?" I asked unsure of the answer

"You like coco pops so..." She smiled at me

"Okay little one"

"So when can she leave?" I asked the nurse

"Whenever she wants we just have to have you sign some papers." She said handing me some papers which I had to sign,

"Okay" I said and signed all of the pages

"Thank you and I wish you the best" she smiled at us

I grabbed Brooklyn's crutches and helped her on them.

We made it to the door about to leave when the nurse called Brooklyn's name

"Yes" she asked

"I have a surprise for you" the nurse said walking towards us with a bag

"What" Brooke asked excited

"Close your eyes" she said as Brooke closed her eyes

The nurse pulled out a small bag which was a princess hit thing (picture on side or on top if you are reading this on the app)

"Open" she said as Brooke gasped

"Thank you so much" Brooke said as she tried to give the lady a hug

"Your welcome darling now be safe" she smiled at us

"Thank you so much this really means the world to her." I said thanking her

"Your welcome" she said as we walked out of the door

"So... You ready to surprise Peter Pan?!" I said exciting her

"Yes!!!" She screamed excited

"Okay baby girl but shh you have to be quit in here" I told her as we made our way past patients

"Sorry" she said as she hopped along beside me.

We made our way out of the hospital and I was deciding on how we would get back

"Hmm." I said thinking

"Whats a matter" she asked me curiously

"I don't know how were getting home from here" I said without looking at her

"Don't you have a phone" she asked me reminding me of why I never left high school with A*'s

"Smart idea little one" I said pulling out my phone from the pocket in my dress.

"I'm not that little" she said lifting up a leg

"Okay" I smiled at her

"Hello" I said into the phone

"Hello" Hali replied

"Hi I'm sorry for calling out of the blue but I have amazing news to tell you. Can you meet me by the hospital near your flat?" I asked

"Sure...?" She said confused

"Great bye"

"Bye"she replied and hung up

"Is someone coming?" She asked

"Yes my friend hali" I told her

We waited a few minutes and I saw a bright pink car pull up and realised the car as halis

She got out the car and walked up to me confused

"Hey" i said

"Hey. Who's the child" she asked

"This is my little sister Brooklyn" I told her proudly

"But I thought she..." She said not wanting to finish the sentence

"So did I but my uncle kidnapped me today and I found out shes alive and doing great." I told her

"Well it's a good thing your both alright"

"Hello" hali said bending down to Brooklyn's height

"Hi" Brooklyn cheered

"Aww shes so cute jade" hali said to me

"Thank you" Brooklyn said

Hali looked shocked at her

"She's very smart for her age" I told hali

"Well shall we get going peters dying to see you. Does he know about Brooklyn?" She asked

"No I'm going to surprise him" I said as I got me and Brooklyn in the car.

Today is going to be a good day.
