Chapter 33

"I can't wait to meet everyone today" I said exited about my job

"Me either" peter said as we walked upstairs to get ready
"Your getting a baby belly now" he said looking at my belly

"Are you saying im fat" I pretended to be offended

"No I'm just saying the baby-" "i was joking stupid" i cut him off and laughed

He chuckled as he sat down getting his makeup done

"Not to be rude but are you pregnant?" Lou the makeup artist asked

Lou was a really nice person so I guess I should trust her

"Yes" I said laughing

"Does mark know" she asked referring to the manager

"No and we would like to keep it that way please" peter asked her

"Of course cross my heart but I don't think you'll be able to hide it forever" she said promising us she wouldn't blab

"I'll tell him I just don't want him replacing me when you can't even notice it when I'm in costume" I told her.

"Okay I get it"

We both got our makeup done and walked downstairs towards the wishing well.

"Ohh I can see them starting to let people in" peter said exited

Today's going to be fun. I though as I saw children running up to us.

"Why hello" I said to a girl about 6

"Hi" she smiled

"Hmm and what princess are you" I asked walking around her in circles

"Ariel" she smiled at me

"Ohh ariel used to stand over there you know. Well when she had legs but now she's back in the water with her tail" I told her remembering seeing ariel there a few times.

"I want to be a princess when I grow up" she told me

"Well if you dream and work hard for your dreams you can be anything" I told her as her eyes gleamed into mine.

"Really" she asked her eyes sparkling

"Really." I said as her mom came over to me

"Can we have a picture with you please" she asked

"Oh of course" I said as we all stood together as I presume the little girls father took the picture.

"Oh that was beautiful" I said trying to stay in character

"Thankyou" they both said before walking away.

I turned around to see peter dancing with a little girl. It made my heart melt being able to see peter with a little. It just shows me how much of a good father he is going to be when our baby's born.

I still can't believe in 6 months I'm going to be having a baby.

"Wendy" i heard someone scream

"Yes" I said realising I had spaced out and peter was trying to call me

"Maebel wants you to sign her book" he told me

"Of course" I said and signed it

"Thankyou" she said and reached out to grab the book.

As she reached out I saw her sleeve had a rip in it

I remembered the start of Peter Pan where peter had to have his shadow signed back on which gave me the idea to mention it.

"Oh look you have a rip. You'll have to sew that later." I told her

"And don't try and stick it on with soap either. Peter found that out the hard way didn't you peter" I said making him smile.

"Hey it was a smart idea" he said

"But you can't stick a shadow on with soap peter it needed sewing because that's the proper way to do it" I said memorising parts of the film

"Girls talk too much" he said leaning his head on his hand

"No boys just don't talk very much" I said
"Aren't I right maebel" I said asking the little girl who laughed nodding at me

"See" I told peter "Maebel knows"

"Fine" peter said giving up and giving Maebel a hug before she walked away to her parents.

"Iv missed this" I said to myself as I leaned over the wishing well

"Have you now?" A voice said that Made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up in fear...
