Chapter 17

A few people messages me saying it was too early for them to be having a baby so I changed the last chapter a bit.

"Ill name her Brooklyn" I said

"That's perfect" he said "but isn't that your sisters name"

"Yes it is I just want to be able to keep her in my mind. And I really like that name" I said

"We'll I think it's perfect" peter said as we continued walking up to get changed back into our normal clothes.

As peter was changing I decided to look on my phone for a bit.

I went onto Twitter I had made for 'Wendy' and saw someone DM me. I opened the message and saw it was a woman about 20-25.

The message said 'hi Wendy my daughter named Wendy is fighting for her life against cancer and we were wondering if you and peter could come down to ................ Hospital and surprise her because she really loves Peter Pan and Wendy Darling. Thanks for reading please get in touch soon.'

I messages back 'of course I will and so will peter when do you want us to visit'

I replied without asking peter

She messages back 'whenever you are free'

I replied 'we'll we're free now?'

She replied back with 'yes nows perfect were at ............. Hospital floor 6 room 367'

'Okay were on our way'

"Oh peter darling I have just arranged us to go visit a girl in hospital who has cancer" I told him

"Okay when" he asked

"Now"

"Like right now" he asked

"Yes why"

He came out of the bathroom and had took off his makeup

"Uhm..."

"It's fine I can of it for you" I said and got my makeup bag

He sat down on my little makeup table and I got to work

I finished in about 2 minutes and I did a pretty good job

"Done" I said

Peter turned around and looked in the mirror

"Wow this looks amazing" he told me and gave me a kiss

"Thanks now let's go" I said heading towards the door

"Wait" I said stopping and letting peter crash into me

"What" he asked

"Can we stop off at the shop so I can get them a present each" I asked

"Sure" peter said and I grabbed my purse off the sofa

We were now on our journey to the hospital and I had been to the shop and got Wendy a get well soon card and a Wendy and peter doll and dress up costumes and I got her mom a box of chocolates and a purse which I slipped a £50 note into it.

We arrived at the hospital and we walked up towards the room I had been told to go to.

I knocked on the door and saw the woman who messages me on twitter come to the door.

"Thank you so much for coming this means so much to me and wendy" she told us

"It's no problem were happy to help uhm..." I said not knowing her name

"Mary" she told me

"Wow just like the film your names mary and your daughters name is Wendy" I said smiling

"Yes I know now stand here and when I say to her I have brought you a present come into the room" she told us

"Okay" I said

Mary walked back Into the room and said "Wendy I have got a suprise for you"

"What" I heard Wendy say

"Close your eyes" mary said

We motioned for us to come in so we did and stood infront of Wendy's bed

"Open" mary said and Wendy opened her eyes and screamed.

Wendy was probably about 10.

Wendy ran up to us and hugged both of us. We kneeled down to her height and gave her a hug each. We also decided on talking in our character voices to make it more realistic.

After a few minutes she pulled away and said thank you to her mum

"Wendy we have brought you some presents" peter said motioning to the bag I was holding

I gave her the bag and watched her eyes sparkle as she pulled out her presents

"Thank you so much" Wendy said and gave us both a hug again

"It's absolutely fine you deserve it for being a brave little girl" peter said

"Thank you" mary said to us

"It's fine we also got you a little something too" I told her

Peter gave her the bag and she pulled out the chocolates with a big smile on her face and then the purse.

"We put a little but of money in there too just to help you out a bit" I said as she pulled out the £50 note.

"Thank you so much but I can't take this" she said giving it us back

"Yes you can were not taking it back" peter said pushing her hand with the money in away from us.

"Thank you" mary said accepting the gift

"So" I said "who's your favourite out of us" I asked her joking around and she pointed at me

"Ha ha" I said rubbing it in peters face as he made a pouty face.

We spent the next hour and half playing games with the little girl until visiting times were over

"Thank you so much for coming and for the lovely gifts you made her so happy" mary said

"It's a pleasure" I said

"Bye" mary and Wendy said as we gave Wendy a goodbye hug and walked out the door

"Bye" me and letter said just before the door closed.

"Aww she was so nice" I said as I walked out the door

"I know we have to visit her again soon" peter said

"Definately" I said as we walked towards his car ready to go back to disneyland to peters room.
