The next day I woke up at my usual time. And did my usual routine. I wasn't sure if I should sleep in or continue with my normal duties, but I didn't want to take any chances with dad. Especially with Aiden, he seemed like a good guy and all but I do have my trust issues. I sighed and walked towards my room and locked the door. After putting on matching red undergarments I decided to wear red skinny jeans with a white tight long sleeve with horizontal dark blue stripes. I put on some black converse and did my blond hair in a side French braid. I sometimes wondered were I got my blond hair from. Mom had black hair while dad had brown. I applied some mascara, eyeliner and blush. I added red lipstick as a final touch. It actually complemented my skin color since I had gotten a tan this summer from doing work in the garden. After I made breakfast which consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, French toast, pancakes and orange juice I went to the living room and sat there thinking about my messed up life. I wanted to tell Becca everything but I was afraid of judgement, afraid of what dad would do, afraid of losing my best friend, and afraid of losing what little family I had. Even though I should hate them and be mad at them for how they treat me I still loved them. But I guess I can't speak for everyone. I was so deep In thought I didn't hear some one calling me. "Sapphire, earth to Sapphire, helllooooo Sapphire" Aiden tapped my forehead and said "you in there?" I frowned and said "I heard you the first time" he smiled and shrugged then said "I know, so its barely 6:30 why you up so early?" "I couldn't sleep, breakfast is on the table, and mom and ... Your dad won't be long, if you want to start eating" he nodded and said "you ate already?" I didn't but it didn't seem like a good idea "umm yeah I did" he looked at me and said "ok then oh and how do you get to school?" "I walk it is only a five minute walk you know" he smiled and said "alright then wait for me before you leave, cause I'm making you my tour guide" I raised an eyebrow and said "your a big boy now, can't you get around all by yourself?" he gasped and said "hell no! I could get lost in this small neighbor hood then get captured by some psychotic loner and since im so sexy I would probably get raped by some crazy chick! And you wouldn't want that to happen now would you?" he looked at me batting his eyelashes, he looked ridiculous and I couldn't help but laugh then I said "I guess not" he gave a genuine smile and said "of course not!" he ruffled my hair and before he went into the kitchen he whispered "you look very beautiful" after he left dad and mom followed him in. I couldn't help but blush. I knew he always said those types of things to girls, but for some reason it actually made me feel nice. Probably because I was used to being called ugly by my dad. After they were done with breakfast mom offered to clean up which was a first. But she did it so Aiden would be on time on his first day. I grabbed my bag and started walking. During the whole walk he kept asking about school.

When we got there everyone said there hellos to me and then i spotted Becca she saw me and said "hey! OMG! are your boobs getting bigger or what?!" I stood there shocked that she actually said something like that in front I Aiden who was busy laughing. " ha ha anyways Aiden this is Becca, Becca this is-" "hey I'm Aiden, S's family friend" Becca shook his hand and winked at me which didn't go unnoticed by Aiden since he smirked "ok let's get you to the office so I can go my own way" he nodded and said "fine, lead the way mademoiselle" I rolled my eyes and started walking with Aiden by my side. I was aware of people looking. "wow, can't believe girls are already undressing you with their eyes" he smirked even wider and said "it's cause im irresistible" then he winked I scoffed and said "I think it's actually the fact that your so ugly their trying to see if your actually human" he gasped an said "you don't mean that!" I shrugged and kept walking when we got to the office he got his schedule and we parted ways. It was actually a good day so far. People were being friendly as always and inviting me to their parties. I guess because I've known them for two years now, and I like all of my friends and I basically know everyone at school since it is small. In one occasion I spotted Aiden hanging out with the jocks,how typical. When he saw me he quickly pointed and yelled "hey S!" he winked at me and I just rolled my eyes and kept walking. Lunch was awesome! Becca got in a fight with Yoselyn some slut who kept calling her fat, the whole cafeteria broke into a food fight! Luckily I was out of range and nothing hit me. Sucks for second lunch they have it so boring. Anyways, Becca got detention along with Yoselyn. Now I was on my way to my last period,vspeech. It was a senior class, only five juniors were there including my guy best friend Keith, he was actually gay but no one knew except me, but if you looked at him he seemed perfectly straight. I took a deep breath expecting the worst since I didn't do my research paper. When I walked in I was greeted by none other than Aiden. "hey S! Glad to see you!" I smiled sweetly and said "can't say the same thing about you" Matt laughed and I went to sit with Keith. We sat on the other side of the room across from Aiden. The teacher came in and started talking while Keith smiled and whispered "did you do your homework?" I shook my head and said "you?" he smirked and shook his head then whispered "I was busy getting laid" he then wiggles his eyebrows and I said "eeewwww!" which caused the whole class to look at me I smiled and said "sorry" Mrs. Whatsherface Glared at me and said "well miss Banda seeing as though your anxious to talk, get over here and present your research paper." I smiled sweetly and said "I'm sorry but I didn't do it" she didn't look surprised and said "I don't care, this is a Major grade, no redo's so I suggest you come up here and wing it or you fail" bitch. half the class went oooh while Keith laughed I shoved him and said "fine" I got up and headed to the front of the class and said "well... I was supposed to research Michael Jackson. So umm... Well he used to sing." Keith said "duh" I rolled my eyes and said "yeah, anyways he danced, and also turned skin color , he umm... Oh! He was on the news for child molesting! And I wouldn't know anything else because I did not like him or his music." the teacher sighed and said "alright questions anyone?" Aiden smirked and raised his hand and said "how did he change skin colors? And what type of dances did he do? Could you do a demonstration?" I raised an eyebrow and said "he probably jus threw powder on him and as for dancing how should I know and if you want to see him dance I suggest you google it and not waste my time" Keith yelled "damn" while the teacher shook her head and said "detention after school!" I looked at her and said "are you serious?" she nodded and said "yes, now take a seat and let someone else do their presentation, preferably someone who ACTUALLY did it". Damn. I wasn't sure whereI was getting my attitude from, but it felt good to set loose.
