After mom and dad left I made my way inside. I was so confused right now.

Nothing made sense. Either way I was glad that at least they didn't yell at me.

I went up the stairs and was about to go into my room but hesitated. Instead I went up to Aiden's room and knocked. Nothing. I knocked again and I heard shuffling coming from inside, I knocked again and this time something was thrown at the door.

I took in a deep breath and said "Aiden... It's me Sapphire..."

Nothing. I knocked again softly and suddenly it was being opened.

Aiden stood there with sweatpants and a loose shirt he looked awful... Well not THAT awful but still, his hair was a mess and he looked as if he hadn't slept.

I have him a small smile since I suddenly felt shy. "hey" he looked me up and down then said "shouldn't you be resting?" his voice was somehow different. I nodded and said "yes, but I wanted to know how you were..."

He scoffed and basically growled "I'm perfectly FINE" I flinched a bit unconsciously and he noticed since his features softened and said "I-I'm sorry S..."

I shook my head and said "your mad at me... I'm sorry," he shook his head and then said "damn it S! Just... Come inside and I'll explain"

I followed him in while he closed the door. He then turned towards me and scratched the back of his neck. His room was a mess clothes everywhere, broken things movies and video games where all over. Even leftovers. Seemed like a guys room all right.

I sat down on the edge of his bed and he followed my movements and sat next to me. After moments where neither of said anything he finally sighed and said "I'm not mad at you" he looked at me and I said "then what's wrong?"

He sighed and said "I-I was just umm well shit happened...and well yeah..." I smiled and said "oh ok... Henry said you'd been weird" he chuckled and said "yeah I guess I have... But not anymore"

I nodded and whispered "promise?" I wasn't sure if I wanted to know for my sake or just because I was worried. He eventually have me one of his charming smiled and said "yeah I promise"

I nodded once again and started messing with the ends of my dress. "hey S?" I looked up to see him and he said "you should wear dresses mor often... You look very beautiful" I looked away and blushed then said "thank you.."

He laughed and said "you have to tell me I look beautiful now" I smiled and said "even though you look like crap?"

He burst ou laughing and said "your mean...but yeah even though I look like crap" I smiled and said "Aiden... You look fairly pretty today..." we laughed and he said "just pretty?! Damn I need to get my game on! And soon!"

We eventually just sat there talking about random things. Every time it seemed as if though he wanted to ask something else but stopped himself.

We were sitting with our backs resting against the headboard when he said "so... Matt huh?" I looke up at him confused and said "what?"

he sighed and said "I guess he's a good guy and all probably not much as a player he has game even brought you flowers to the hospital I have to admit it hes somewhat of a decent guy not my type but I'm not into guys so what do I know right? Anyways just tell him I got your back ok and I will kick his ass if he does something cause your a sweet girl and well I wouldn't want you to suffer cause of that idi-"

"Aiden! I'm not dating Matt" he looked at me and then his eyes widened and then said "oh! Well that's great! I mean why?"

I sighed and said "Matt isn't my type, he's more of a friend to me..." Aiden smiled and said "so no kissing Matt?" I smiled and said "nope" he chuckled and said "good...good" he then pulled me into a hug taking me by surprise.

He sighed and said "you know... I'd hate to see you date"

I pulled away and looked into his eyes. His amazing eyes. I smiles and said "why?" he looked away and said "I'm not sure... Brother instincts?" it sounded as If he desperately wanted to believe it then I said "we're not related"

He chuckledand said "yeah now go to bed your supposed to be resting. I'll go check up on you ok?"

I nodded and said "you know I kinda missed your visits at the hospital" he smirked and said "what girl wouldn't?" I smiled and said "bye Aiden"

I got up and walked toward the door when I was about to leave I turned around and said "Aiden?" he smiled and said "yeah..." I smiled back and said "thanks for singing to me that night" and I left but before I swear I saw him blush.

I know it's short but I'm failing Algebra 2 and I need time to make it up. So yeah.
