Aiden's P.O.V

Great! I leave for a few moments an that idiot already has S crawling for her!

What does she see in him? More importantly why do I care?! I shouldn't care! I don't even know her! God she's driving me crazy!

Ever since I arrived here and saw her, something just pulled me towards her. I've never cared about girls, and now I'm going crazy over ONE.

Hell I don't even know a lot about her, except that shes keeping secrets. Maybe thats it maybe I just want to know what she's hiding. Yeah that's it, nothing more.

Oh who am I kidding I don't like Matt, and I don't like him near S! Speaking of S her mom hasn't gone to the hospital once to see her... What mom wouldn't go to the hospital when their kid is there!

I mean my mom would surely be freaking out! Never leaving my side, hell last year I got a freaking paper cut and she almost had a heart attack!

So what the hell is going on?

Sapphire's P.O.V

After that little scene two days ago not once has Aiden stopped by. Part of me is glad because dad won't get mad, but the other part of me feels sad.

Aiden after all was the only one who actually came and visited me. I found out that Becca left with her mom on a trip and wouldn't come back until the weekend.

And Matt, well Matt... I think he's upset with me. I told him no. That I just saw him as a friend. He left afterwards, said something about practice. And now I'm waiting for dad to pick me up.

Doctor said that I needed to rest, that one week worth of resting would do my body good. And thankfully the bruises would disappear within a couple of days, so when I start school I wouldn't get much attention.

I was glad that the doctors didn't ask more questions about my other bruises although they weren't convinced. I knew dad wouldn't be glad about me being home doing nothing, so I was actually preparing myself for the worst.

"Ms. Banda, you may leave now" the nurse smiled and waited for me.

I sat up, straightened my summer dress I was given and walked out. I didn't even know why mom sent me the dress, but then flashbacks came to me. Mom always used to give me gifts whenever she felt the need to apologize.

Now I felt weird. I didn't want to wear this dress anymore, if she wanted to apologize she could have easily came to visit me. But she didn't. Not even once.

And it hurt. She was my mom. She IS my mom. And she should have been there...

As I got outside I saw my dad already there. I got in the backseat and he drove off. He didn't try and start conversation and I wasn't going to anger him by talking. When we got there I was about to get out when his voice stopped me.

"Sapphire..." I turned around and said "yes?"

He sighed and ran a hand trough his hair, then said "my son- I mean Aiden he- he's been a bit down... I I know I told you to make him stay away..b-but could you umm... Go talk to him?"

He looked sad and it sort of made me jealous, what surprised me though was the fact that he was asking, pleading, not ordering.

I nodded an he immediately looked relieved and said "good! He's in his room, I'll I- I'm taking your mother out ok, well be back later..." I nodded and turned to go inside when he suddenly said "oh and Sapphire.... You umm you look very pretty in that dress..." I turned to him not believing his words.

He only gave me a small smile an I couldn't help but whisper "thank you" then he got in the car and no later mom went and joined him.

She saw me and smiled as well, just a small smile but it had made a difference.

It made my day..

It made me smile...

It made me know she still noticed me...

It sort of made me happy...

Yet it confused me...

What was going on?

There it is! As you can see I'm working on my spacing. Finally huh? :) anyways thanks for reading and after this chapter I'm pretty sure there's going to be a lot more happening...
